I’m starting a new thread about poetry. I’ve taken Gemini1789 rhyme idea which I liked.
Each post will be to create 3 lines of poetry. The first line you will be given.
My starter:
- Midway upon the journey of my life
- I met my lover and became a wife
- Many hours were spent out walking
(the first two lines rhyme then importantly the last doesn't)
So the next person - Take the last line and writes two more
- Many hours were spent out walking
- Stopping for lunches and doing nothing but talking
- Days turned into years
Next person takes that last line and writes two more:
- Days turned into years
- And my laughter turned to tears
- We had to say “Goodbye”
RULES
Take the last person's last line
You write another line to rhyme
Then write another line that does not rhyme.
No rhythm necessary.
- 3 lines in total are needed before you post.
The game now starts with the next person taking that last line: "We had to say, "Goodbye"
