My son and family gave me a gift voucher for Christmas. I raced down to Boots this morning and spent the lot on a big bottle of Youth Dew perfume. I haven't done this sort of thing for donkeys years and it felt GOOD!!!

Usual weekend shop this morning!

Fresh double cream, a chocolate orange, sprouts and grapes.

Nothing in the last few days as we've had3,400 stolen from our bank account and are now overdrawn and cards cancelled whilst it's sorted out!

Two packets of half-price flower seeds and two half-price mugs yesterday from a garden centre.

A beautiful pair of wellingtons in the garden centre this afternoon. These aren't just any wellingtons, they're shiny black with red roses and green leaves printed on them. Impulse buy but can't wait for the rain. Sorrrrrrry.

A birthday cake in the shape of a pug for DGS now 12. You would think my DD could have planned things better than having a child with a birthday 5 days after Christmas.

Box of cereal for little gd who had stayed the night and we drove out to the village shop for a ‘treat’ cereal (one of the unhealthy ones which I feel bad about - but at least she is having milk with it and it does say ‘fortified with vitamins’ on the box)
