Hi all! Thanks for those who tried already.

Just clarify, it's up to individual posters, how they solve it, brackets, BODMAS or some other way.

We all have different learning styles and ways to get to the answer.
I tried to make the question as simple as possible, so posters could do their own thing.

Please don't stress about it, it's not the intention to make people feel bad. It was supposed to be a way of taking our mind off things. I needed to keep my brain active and making up these has been a distraction and good for my wellbeing.
I'm actually being quite selfish, no altruism was intended. ,

I would have assumed from the way the question was written that brackets weren't allowed. I've never used bodmas (what does it stand for?)

I can only do it using 2 sets of brackets. That’s unless I cheat from gillybob who has no business being up so early anyway !
