The title says it all
Alphabetical order,
if it’s that obscure an explanation would be interesting.

Lumptician.

Carefully calculates the amount of lumps needed in custard/mashed potatoes, before they can be graded as 'school dinner' standard.

MissA our school failed then, unless the ratio was 90/100 of lumps!

Tubalator. This was a job i had as a teenager. I worked for a company who made vaccum flasks and i put three small fabric like dots on the bottom of the tubes before they went into the actual flasks.smile

Oopsadaisy3 glad someone knows what i am talking about. I loved that job, boring as it sounds, the other workers were great. We sang while we worked and had a great time. We all did peace work and the more boxes we filled the larger our pay packets. The older ladies kept us younger ones in check and listened to our tales of woe about boyfriends and unrequited love smile Plenty of overtime too, an hour every night M-T and Saturday mornings. I can remember bringing home more than my dad did as he was a farm worker. I helped my mum out as much as i could, we did in those days back in the 60's. No going to college or Uni, at 15 you left school got a job and helped with the household budget. Now it's the other way round. Parents helping the kids and supporting them through Uni. How times have changed. Not always for the better sadly.smile
