Hello Everyone! ?
Lovely new Spring thread!?️?️???

What is your chocolate treat of choice??

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 13:13:10

No, not fall down, as the fireplace is bricked up. But pigeons used to nest in there before DH sorted it out (it's all a bit vague).
What type of bird was it Puzzler? Was it okay? I believe that there is a classic thread on here about a seagull who fell down the chimney.

What is your favourite bird? ?

Puzzler61 Sat 08-May-21 12:51:05

Along the coast if possible but I live a long way from the sea.
Love walking in the countryside 2 or 3 times a week.

Have you ever had a bird fall down your chimney?
(We did this week).

NotAGran55 Sat 08-May-21 12:21:00

I am Autumn colouring , so olive, rust , gold , terracotta, coral, teal blue .

Do you like walking in the countryside, seaside or towns/cities the best ?

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 11:45:59

No, I haven't worn jeans since the 90s.
I find them really uncomfortable and stiff; and I look awful in them!
I live in dresses; shift dresses, and loose, floaty things.

I do use the microwave to heat things up.

Which colours do you like to wear?

Shinamae Sat 08-May-21 11:28:50

No I don’t, but I keep meaning to, I have a smart TV that has YouTube on it and I have been recommended so many videos it’s just actually getting to it... I just don’t have any motivation at the moment

Do you still wear jeans?… I live in jeans personally, the last time I wore a dress was at my daughters wedding five years ago!!

henetha Sat 08-May-21 11:27:44

Yes, endlessly. Getting bored with it lately.

Do you cook much in the microwave?

grandMattie Sat 08-May-21 09:27:22

Frequently.

Do you exercise daily at home?

Kim19 Sat 08-May-21 08:48:26

Sometimes they prompt my memory about a film I had fancied and forgotten.

Do you have any favourite Saturday listening/viewing?

Mollygo Sat 08-May-21 08:31:47

Supplements, yes we have some Seven Seas stuff. It’s like trying to swallow an egg!

Do you ever really use or go and see things advertised on the side of buses?

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 08:24:55

Sorry! I took far too long!

Molly I've had mice everywhere.
I've had / got cats who like to bring them in but don't hurt them. I even had a baby rat in my bedroom once.
I know that this will horrify a lot of people!

GM - no, and I really, really should

Do you take any supplements?

Lin52 Sat 08-May-21 08:23:30

Puzzler61

A gardener - yes but not a landscape gardener. He filled in an old drained pond and later he laid a patio over the top.

Do you like to dry your washing outside in the breeze or indoors?

Do my own gardening, as quite small area, and whenever I can, I dry washing outdoors, can’t beat that smell when you bring it in.

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 08:21:45

'morning Kim and all!
I'm going to the opticians with DH as he wants me to help chose the frame.
It's absolutely throwing it down here, and will be doing so all day.
Will watch Derby County on Sky, as they are the local team. Neither of us support them but we enjoy their ineptitude.
I like listening to Any Questions / Answers.
I need to do my Ocado shop and also sort out my Nan's funeral flowers.
So nothing exciting.

Do you take any supplements?

grandMattie Sat 08-May-21 08:20:42

Frequently.

Do you exercise daily at home?

Mollygo Sat 08-May-21 08:17:35

Long walk-ruined by torrential rain, so it’ll have to be the gym. Cleaning the bathroom. Carry on reading.

Have you ever had a mouse in your garage?

Kim19 Sat 08-May-21 06:02:57

Newlywed. Made a large pot of soup with too much thickening. We had to cut it out of the pressure cooker in chunks!

Saturday plans?

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 05:14:51

Me too.
Weirdly, probably now. I don't feel guilty about doing very little.
Or late afternoon.

What was your worst cooking disaster?

BBbevan Sat 08-May-21 04:39:22

Anti

What is your favourite time of day?

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 03:49:27

The silver birch at the top of the garden. It must have been planted when the house was built about ninety years ago.

Are you pro or anti loo brush?

nanna8 Sat 08-May-21 00:28:40

Anywhere you sit. Every room in our house has them, including bedrooms.

Do you have a favourite plant/tree in your garden?

Mollygo Sat 08-May-21 00:02:31

I couldn’t choose. I usually have a jigsaw on the go but crosswords are better for doing in bed or on the train.

Where’s the best room to have a bookshelf?

Shinamae Fri 07-May-21 23:38:23

Do you prefer a jigsaw or a crossword?

Shinamae Fri 07-May-21 23:35:29

The Fire Brigade!

hollysteers Fri 07-May-21 23:33:26

Young Mick Jagger, now neither.

You can make one call from a burning building, who do you call?

Shinamae Fri 07-May-21 22:39:13

Definitely countryside for me

Mick Jagger or Paul McCartney?

EkwaNimitee Fri 07-May-21 21:46:55

Cancer, and, yes, I can get quite crabby!
Seriously, I seem to have the listed characteristics though I don’t follow astrology.
