Goldfinch-they’re so pretty.
Actually it’s starlings. They entertain me endlessly on our bird feeders.

Yes we do. I love it.

Yes! I had one done on my hip on a school trip to Paris when I was fourteen.

Are you good at spelling and grammar?

Spelling, Yes. Grammar, not sure. There wasn’t much emphasis put on it at my Secondary Modern School. But I get by.

Yes from Woolacombe to Ilfracombe secondary school

Yes, I'm not sure what that means, but I more than likely am.
I heard someone describe themselves as 'mixed class'.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A nurse. Nursing and teaching were the only jobs suggested at careers training.
I swapped my job for work in IT quite late on.

Have you ever been to Lands End or John O’Groats?

Both. We took a helicopter ride to the Isle of Scilly. I don’t know if they still do it. It was over 40 yrs ago.

Do you prefer small/ large ship cruising?

Neither. I once did a flotilla holiday around the Dalmatian Islands and was sick as a dog on several occasions. No cruise ships for me .

No! I've never even touched one

A jigsaw when I was 10 and last year gin and books on GN.

Oh yes, always the crosswords, sometimes the sudokus.

Do you like fairy lights all over the place ?I had them at Christmas and they are so nice I have left them up. Just plain white ones though.

Yes. I love fairy lights. I've got them round a mirror in my bedroom and some bronze leaf ones round a picture in the living room. And some tiny ones on a large orchid!

Mine is Four in a Bed.
I'm also getting into a New Life in the Sun, which is a bit like TOWIE for older people.

Come Dine With Me is my favourite. People watching , cooking and nosying around houses!

Have you ever been to The Ideal Home Exhibition?

I like Come Dine too, but it's not as good as it was. The early series' were brilliant. I remember an old fella who was cooking crepes a l'orange. He didn't have any Cointreau so used Blue Caraco (sp?) instead.

I have not been to the Ideal Home - buy I have been to the Clothes Show Live, which you mentioned on another thread this morning!

Tom Ford Oud Wood is my favourite, with Aesop Marrakech a close second .
