Hello Everyone! ?
Lovely new Spring thread!?️?️???

What is your chocolate treat of choice??

FannyCornforth Sat 15-May-21 11:12:30

Oh gosh. I'm not qualified to comment!
I do like a bit of Clapton, and I rate Slash from Guns and Roses for over-the-topness. Oh, and Prince. I'm not really a 'music' person. Probably Hendrix...

My dad (who is qualified to comment) would d
say Django Reinhardt, so I'll go with him!

Favourite male and female singers?

FannyCornforth Sat 15-May-21 11:13:50

If you are reading love, who do you think is/ are the greatest guitarists?

Shinamae Sat 15-May-21 11:18:57

Favourite female singer Amy Winehouse

Do you do the lateral flow test? I do twice a week Wednesday and Saturday

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 15-May-21 14:16:53

No, I've never done this test - should I? I've had both jabs and hardly ever go out except for essentials.

To answer Fanny it's a toss up between David Gilmour, Slash and Jimi Hendrix.

Do you have a favourite work of art?

FannyCornforth Sat 15-May-21 15:05:23

Oh love how similar were our answers!
I believe Shinamae works in Care and has to do them twice weekly, I know my teaching friends do too.
I've never done one either.

I've got so many favourite works of art. I'll have to get back to you. Sorry!

Do you have a favourite feminist who you particularly admire, or whose theories etc you agree with?

hollysteers Sat 15-May-21 16:06:36

I don’t know if Shirley Williams would have described herself as a feminist, but I admired her very much. She seemed to be a politician with her heart in the right place. I wish she had gone further.

If you were an opera singer (maybe you are!), which leading role would you like to sing?

Billybob4491 Sat 15-May-21 16:56:11

I have a beautiful singing voice hollysteers, but only reserved for the bathroom!

Did you do anything of interest today?

NotAGran55 Sat 15-May-21 17:06:21

Puzzler it was many years ago before his first Gold Medal . My then boyfriend rowed with him and it was a charity fundraising event at Marlow . Steve rowed with a length of drainpipe and I used a dustpan and brush!

Yes many times as a child and once as a teenager whilst riding my bike in Windsor Great Park . We lived in a village near Ascot that the royal procession goes through on the way to the racecourse.. Due to the disruption our school had the week off during Royal Ascot and we would go every day to see the procession .
