Ive had posts deleted on the classic Mumsnet set but not here. Ive reported a few of my own posts on word games that were incorrect.

Do you have a set morning routine when you get up or do you sometimes "do your own thing?"

Jobbies, not hobbies!

I've got one of those wipe down oil cloth hobbies on the kitchen table.
I've also inherited some beautiful hand embroidered cotton ones from my great grandmother, which I would never use. Silly, isn't it? But they'd be ruined within minutes.

Have you ever had a post deleted on here? Why? And how did you feel about it?

Working today (supposed to be) but yesterday a lovely lunch with long time Scottish friends. He’s a brilliant cook,too.

Do you use tablecloths?

Absolutely not. I remember feeling quite chuffed at joining the contributors.

No its been fine all day which is unusual as I live in Manchester and they do call it Rainy City.

When you started your first job did you resent the money that you had to tip up to your mother for your "keep"?

A “Buttoneer” Does anybody remember them? Advertised on TV. Plastic threads were shot through the button in a trice, securing them onto a garment.
I still take a needle and thread to sew on a button - I never think of the redundant Buttoneer.

Have you had many rain showers today?

Oh gosh yes. Eton Mess is wonderful, also Les Isles Flottante and fruit fool - anything light.

Do you have anything in your cupboard which might come in handy but which you've hardly ever used?

I used to enjoy Dickinsons Real Deal and would regularly tune in to see if I had anything of value hidden away in the loft. I've gone off it recently as it seems dated and needs a makeover.

Do you have a favourite dessert?

Introvert, except after a few gins

Do you watch ‘antique’ based programmes?

Dance with a Stranger about Ruth Ellis was very good.

Would you say you are an introvert or an extrovert?

I probably wouldn't even think about taking photos.
I'd hang around until the police turned up because I'd be interested to see what happens next, and I'd also want to know that I'd done the right thing.

Can you think of a real life crime book or film that you have really enjoyed?
(I'm thinking of Let Him Have It. That was such a sad story.)

Probably 1. Hope it never happens.

If you found the aforementioned body, would you take pics on your phone and hang around till the police arrived?

Elizabeth I and a few of her courtiers - I have a fascination for the Tudor period.

If you discovered what appeared to be a dead body in a remote spot - bearing in mind the press hooha and often unwelcome publicity - would you:-

#1 ring the police & give your contact details
or
#2 ring the police but do it anonymously from a call box or burner
or
#3 say nothing and let someone else find it

I'd also have to get someone to cook and host for me, as I'd be a nervous wreck.

Absolutely not! I can't even go up the step ladder, and look down to the ground, without getting the shakes!

I play chess and word games on my computer but I dont have an i-pad.

Would you go sky diving to raise money for a charity?

No,not now. Might have when I was younger.

Do you play games on your computer/iPad?

Not particularly, but as a child, thunderstorms and lightning absolutely terrified me and I’m not keen on them when I’m flying.

Would you go down in a submarine?

A ballerina but can’t think of any names, so I’ll say Oti Mabuse as she is always laughing and I cannot dance so it wouldn’t matter as it wouldn’t happen.

Does stormy weather unsettle you?

Yes and I loved it...his name was Mercury, a beautiful grey horse!

If you could dance with a famous person, who would it be?

Just a little I suppose

Have you ever ridden a horse?

No!!! I dread to think!

Do you think that you are vain?

I can’t think of a time I have been on a bicycle since the year 2000. I used to.
