I have just downloaded an audiobook that is 40hr 37min long!

I wish I could invent a potion to get rid of wrinkles. I might become rich and famous like Estée Lauder.

Why does it always rain after I've watered the garden? Or maybe it was because the man next door washed his car.

I’ve been sent a Shaun the Sheep for my garden.

I've had the fire on all day. In May!!

Sheets of rain here, coming down the chimney, and I am worried about that crack in the ceiling

blowing a gale, trees down and raining so staying indoors today.

It must have been really windy overnight. Some of my big garden pots had blown over.

My feet are freezing.

My newly bought lavenders are waiting to be planted out but not before tomorrow as it’s rained all day.

I'm about to look in the fridge, freezer etc for ideas for my supper. A gin and tonic first to help with inspiration

I have tackled my huge ironing pile

When I defrosted that lump of red meat, liver? lurking at the bottom of the freezer; It turns out to be stewed plums from last Autumn's bumper harvest. Yum.

Well I was all set for it to be very wet today. A good excuse to 'coorie doon' with a good book. However, it's not wet after all. I blame the government!

I had half a glass of red wine at my son's house. I don't like red wine normally but this one was lovely. I was told it's Australian.

I love to be cosy indoors and see the cold wind blowing the branches about madly on trees outside the windows.

I’m off out for a session with my trusty litter picker before it rains. I’m not sure why I always feel embarrassed to be seen picking rubbish up when throwing it down obviously doesn’t bother the people who put it there.

I think it’s going to rain all day tomorrow, and I’ve got some lovely new garden furniture to try out.

Am I the only person who has never watched Line of Duty. It all seems very complicated.

I might get some new slippers. Not sure though.

DH has just suggested a brandy. Anyone like to join us?
