The big garden pots arrived yesterday. But they are nowhere near as big as I thought.

Found an easy to park in space in the middle of Carlisle. Normally I have to chicken out of such manoeuvres as it’s something I am not really good at.

A goldfinch landed on our bird-feeder today. ?
They haven’t been back since a harrier killed a blackbird in our garden.?

It makes me squirm when Phil Spencer and Kirsty Allsopp call each other “Kirstles” and “Pip” on Location, L, L.

Bought a Mars Bar today. Not had one for years. I was very disappointed in the size of it

Went to a jewellers to get a new battery for my watch. Saw a nice necklace there. It was £33,500!! Who could buy that? I didn't.

After all the beautiful weather we finally got the patio cleaned out the back, cleaned the table and chairs and found the sunshade in the garage. Sorted out all the pots of plants, mowed the lawn. Today despite the beautiful blue skies and sunshine there's a biting wind and it's much too cold to sit outside without boots and a coat ?

Had anyone noticed that slugs seem to be getting bigger and fatter?

Radio 4 has too many repeats. No excuse now we can listen again if we choose to. Lazy and cheapskate.

DH has just come in with a bag of custard doughnuts, as he hates them, they must all be for me!

Going with my eldest daughter this afternoon for her to have her first jab - she is dreading it!!

Going for our first pub lunch on Wednesday can not wait.

I need to buy two climbing roses today for those big pots I ordered.

I’m going to be the Fossil Lady on Tuesday.

Had my Covid jab on Wednesday. Neck is hurting now - it could be a side effect, or just arthritis (not nice getting old !!)

I have no willpower. I've just eaten a whole bag of Jelly Babies ? There's a reason I don't buy sweets and chocolates most of the time.
