On another thread, (about hijacking threads, if you want to find it) this was suggested as a potential thread title - each post to have nothing whatever to do with the previous one I though that a very good idea, but no-one seems to have taken it up and started one, so here goes. Not a conversation, no sequencing, totally non sequiturs.

How was I supposed to know there is more than one road with the same name, in different cities? I used the sat nav, trusting it, and by the time I realised I was going in the wrong direction I was halfway to Glasgow.

Lovely day at RHW Wisley yesterday. Blue skies. Sunshine. Lots of people having fun. Not much in the way of flowers, but never mind.

Feeling quite excited , driving several miles (by lockdown standards) tomorrow to a plant sale in the grounds of a Hall (family in residence).

We have driven passed on countless occasions and often wonder what it is like behind the gates.

When John Peel presented Top of the Pops in 1987 it was the first time in 14 years. I miss his dry humour.

Why do people insist on driving in the middle lane on the motorway when they aren't overtaking another vehicle? What do they think the left hand lane is for!

The water in our little pond has gone green. It has always been nice and clear. Maybe we need some fresh weed? The birds bathe in it a lot.

One advantage of the enforced isolation caused by the pandemic is that nobody is going to see the squalor I live in besides me!

Who knew a turkey crown would take 23 hours to thaw? Well I did, actually, before lockdown brain took over. Bacon butties it is then.
