Hello Again!?
Third thread here - too early for a Summer Time Special; especially considering the current weather ?️☔

Okay, here goes:
Who is your favourite comedian, and your least favourite?

BBbevan Mon 02-Aug-21 10:39:29

That would have been good Fanny

FannyCornforth Mon 02-Aug-21 08:10:05

BBbevan had we been at school together I think that we would have been good friends!

I’m very right handed.

Have you ever had problems with your mental health?

BBbevan Mon 02-Aug-21 05:34:21

Loved art and English Lit , hated Physics.

Are you left or right handed or ambidextrous?

biglouis Mon 02-Aug-21 03:08:56

Ive closed my business for the entire month of August and I look forward to some unwinding time just relaxing.

What were your favorite and most detested subjects at school?

Hated - sport and maths. (I wasnt bottom in maths by a long way but the maths teacher always seemed to pick on me)

Loved - French, English language, literature and history.

Kim19 Sun 01-Aug-21 18:15:03

Depends on in-house temperature. Could be single sheet, lightweight duvet or the full works.

What's your next really big 'looking forward to'?

Mollygo Sun 01-Aug-21 18:06:55

Lacrosse. It was the only sport I was ever any good at. Perhaps I felt more threatening with a weapon raised higher than my ankles.

as soon as I put a duvet back on the bed, weather reverted to summer. What is your summer bedding choice?

BBbevan Sun 01-Aug-21 17:50:35

Don’t make me laugh. I have two left feet. Hated sports at school.

What sport did you play at school ?

Parsley3 Sun 01-Aug-21 15:48:58

What about supper? ?
Fish and chips.

Have you ever won a prize for a sport?

FannyCornforth Sun 01-Aug-21 14:21:48

Yes, but it’s not at all unusual

What’s for tea (or dinner if you are posh smile)?

crazyH Sun 01-Aug-21 14:16:50

Do you feel particularly lethargic today ? I do ?

crazyH Sun 01-Aug-21 14:14:21

I’m almost sure there was a recent post from her -but I could be wrong - I too hope she’s ok

FannyCornforth Sun 01-Aug-21 07:28:40

No. I was an only child and happy in my own company!
My aunts had an imaginary horse. She left it outside the butchers on Quarry Bank high street, and my Nan had to take her all the way back to collect it!

Does anyone know if Puzzler is still about? I hope that she is okay

biglouis Sat 31-Jul-21 21:44:44

I used to really enjoy going to big antique markets. However mobility issues (and covid) have put a stop to that.

When you were a child did you have an imaginary companion?

I had one called "Tibbs" because I often played alone and my mother was not into lets pretend games.

NotAGran55 Sat 31-Jul-21 19:53:28

I would never eat meat .

What is your dream day / evening out?

SherrieB Sat 31-Jul-21 19:28:21

Seeing as it looks like hollysteers missed BBbevan's question, I'll answer it, and holllysteers question too.

I don't drink loads of it, but I do love tea. brew
And, yes, I do shop in Primark.

Is there anything you would never eat?

hollysteers Sat 31-Jul-21 18:48:46

There is no right age. I don’t believe in growing old gracefully.
One doesn’t have to make a fool of oneself, but it’s good to stay youthful and keep an open mind. Forget Fifty Shades of Beige and do what you like!

Do you ever shop in Primark?

BBbevan Sat 31-Jul-21 18:48:00

Oh about 85 I should think?

Do you drink a lot of tea?

crazyH Sat 31-Jul-21 17:31:18

Have been dyeing my hair for the 25 years., always dark brown.

What is the right age to start “growing old gracefully” ?

FannyCornforth Sat 31-Jul-21 14:44:53

No, it’s curly so it doesn’t respond well to brushing.
I’m actually dying my hair as I type - I’m doing the waiting part!

What is your hair dying history?

crazyH Sat 31-Jul-21 14:11:20

Yes - I can chant up to 20 times tables….and more at a slower pace

Do you ritualistically brush your hair 100 times at night?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 31-Jul-21 13:54:42

My favourite season is spring because of the promise of fresh flowers and I dislike the heat.

Did you learn your multiplication tables by chanting them at school? Can you still recite them?

It was considered old-fashioned so was dropped by my school and my lack of knowledge has always been embarrassing.

biglouis Sat 31-Jul-21 10:30:58

I shop for groceries online so no I dont get to read the labels

Which is your favorite season of the year and why?

I enjoy autumn because sometimes we have better weather in september than in summer.

nanna8 Sat 31-Jul-21 08:56:28

Yes, selected parts. Watched the BMX riders for the first time ever. Amazing skill!

Do you read food labels or just buy it without ?

DanniRae Sat 31-Jul-21 08:53:57

No I definitely don't like scary films......I am famous for it in my family!

Are you enjoying the Olympics? I am loving it!!

FannyCornforth Sat 31-Jul-21 08:33:01

Absolutely loads of stuff!
Sudocrem is a firm favourite. I have pots of the stuff all over the house.
Night Nurse (more for insomnia desperate measures) and Nytol.
Gaviscon is magic for acid reflux and nausea.
Fibogel for constipation.
Lots more

Do you like scary films? I don’t
