Hello Again!?
Third thread here - too early for a Summer Time Special; especially considering the current weather ?️☔

Okay, here goes:
Who is your favourite comedian, and your least favourite?

Mollygo Tue 01-Jun-21 07:35:02

Dish/tea towels!
I think they breed in the drawer, then sneak out when I’m not looking!

High bed or low bed?

FannyCornforth Tue 01-Jun-21 07:27:31

I don't have one. If I did, in reality it would probably be full of a load of old rubbish, like the rest of my blooming house! I'm waging a construction war against 'stuff'

What do you have too much or too many of?

BBbevan Tue 01-Jun-21 03:30:39

Yes I do.

What have you in your green house ? ( if you have one )

nanna8 Tue 01-Jun-21 01:45:52

Oh no, too 1980s!

Do you have a greenhouse?

crazyH Tue 01-Jun-21 01:22:03

Oh question....do you have a Bar in your Hone?

crazyH Tue 01-Jun-21 01:20:54

I have a 3 foot tall elephant, inlaid with bone.... I saw it transform from the trunk of a tree to a beautifully carved , inlaid elephant, which I got shipped to my home, thousands of miles away. Not that old - about 40 years. Sadly it is sowing signs of cracking due to change of temperature

Savvy Tue 01-Jun-21 00:59:06

I used to love it, but can't do much now due to health problems. Most tools just seem to fly from my hands as my grip goes at the most inopportune moments.

What's the most unusual object in your home?

NotAGran55 Mon 31-May-21 21:59:53

The drive could do with some gravel on the bald patches.

Do you like to do DIY?

crazyH Mon 31-May-21 17:57:30

One that most people are anxious about ......health of self and family.

Look round your house and tell me what needs most attention ... (btw mine is my kitchen ...awful state!!!!)

FannyCornforth Mon 31-May-21 17:35:54

About three days ago

What makes you anxious?

Billybob4491 Mon 31-May-21 16:34:46

Yes I love my sis very much.

When did you last shed a tear?

ninathenana Mon 31-May-21 16:21:02

Not much of a drinker. If I had to say, then a decent white wine.

If you have/had siblings do/did you get on well

FannyCornforth Mon 31-May-21 16:15:37

Yes! It's absolutely fine, although perhaps a little unseasonal
(are you asking for a friend Molly? ?)

What is your Christmas tipple of choice?

Mollygo Mon 31-May-21 16:02:05

Hedgehogs-because we often see them in person garden or the wood.

Is it good to drink red wine in the afternoon?

FannyCornforth Mon 31-May-21 15:45:53

Animal, of course! (Eager beaver!)

FannyCornforth Mon 31-May-21 15:45:26

Yes: hedgehogs, squirrels, newts, toads and frogs, foxes (up to the fence - I don't think that they come in the actual garden), even a cow on one memorable occasion.

What is your favourite native wild anima

biglouis Mon 31-May-21 13:14:13

Never did a BBQ - not into cooking!

Have you ever had a wild creature come into your garden? Fox, hedgehog, squirral etc?

Mollygo Mon 31-May-21 12:20:52

Oh yes! Songs from my childhood, or teens or the choir. I may not be good but it gives me great pleasure.

Do you do barbecues for yourselves or with guests?

henetha Mon 31-May-21 11:33:15

I don't recall collecting anything when I was a child.
For years I collected chicken ornaments, but now have moved on to flamingos. I've got quite a flock.

Do you sing out loud around the house sometimes?

FannyCornforth Mon 31-May-21 07:23:11

I prefer owls to bedding plants.
My favourite is the tawny owl. As I never tire of saying - we had pet owls when I was younger.
Are busy lizzies bedding plants? I like them - so many flowers. And cottage garden plants like hollyhocks and snap dragons.

Did you collect anything when you were a child, or even now?

grandMattie Sun 30-May-21 16:55:12

Whoops wrong thread! ?

What’s your favourite bedding plant?

grandMattie Sun 30-May-21 16:52:54

Starter of tomato, basil and mozzarella; chicken in puff pastry because it’s very messy and a good conversation piece. Pudding would be chocolate fudge fudge pudding, but in a large dish and served at table...

5 native owls

FannyCornforth Sun 30-May-21 16:10:20

No, that sort of thing doesn't interest me at all.

If you were on Come Dine with Me, what would you serve?

biglouis Sun 30-May-21 15:54:49

No I havnt seen "the" dress. I like classic bridal dresses like the one Kate Middleton wore.

Do you ever watch "chat" shows? If so which ones.

FannyCornforth Sun 30-May-21 11:59:34

No, none now, but I used to love Corrie and Brookside back in the day. I'm trying to get into The Archers again though

Have you seen Carrie's dress? What do you think of it?
