Welcome to the Fourth Thread, Questioners and Answerers!

Are you feeling Autumnal?

BBbevan Sun 07-Nov-21 20:16:38

Since I haven’t been to a restaurant in ages. A Restaurant

Full cream or semi skimmed milk ?

ginny Sun 07-Nov-21 19:13:24

I always donate but rarely wear one. If I do it usually falls off.

Would you rather have a good home cooked ( by someone else) Sunday roast or go to a restaurant ?

pea007 Sun 07-Nov-21 18:45:19

I have a routine from Monday to Thursday because I am still working, although over 60; another 3 years to go. No particular routine for the rest of the week.

Do you make a point of buying a poppy for Remembrance Day every year?

AGAA4 Sun 07-Nov-21 17:09:44

I like most of GN. Just find some comments on some threads to be offensive so I don't like that.

Do you have a routine to your days?

FannyCornforth Sun 07-Nov-21 16:56:11

No, I’d love to do it

What do you like and dislike about GN?

Juliet27 Sun 07-Nov-21 16:48:35

Yes, I have a Tesco delivery.

Have you done Jury service

BBbevan Sun 07-Nov-21 13:16:24

Grey cords

Do you have a grocery delivery? I am just waiting for the Sainsbury’s man

henetha Sun 07-Nov-21 12:07:13

Stir fry I think as you can add almost anything and toss it about in the wok. Yesterday I added chicken nuggets to my mushroom stir fry and then a sachet of sweet and sour sauce.

Are you wearing trousers/jeans today or a skirt/dress?

DanniRae Sun 07-Nov-21 12:02:18

Chicken and prawn stir fry - Mr R's favourite and I like it too and its quick and easy.......my kind of cooking smile

What is your favourite meal to cook?

FannyCornforth Sun 07-Nov-21 11:02:29

I used to. I absolutely loathe them now with their ridiculous sound effects. Thank goodness the dog is much better with them now.
They need to be illegal unless they’re silent or low noise.

What’s for dinner?

AGAA4 Sat 06-Nov-21 14:32:29

Yes I was a brownie. I can't remember much of what I learned except that I didn't like church parade on Sunday mornings.

Do you like fireworks?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 06-Nov-21 14:11:50

I don't need pets but they are nice. Show me a basket of cute little kittens but I don't want the worry and responsibility any more.

Did you ever go to Brownies? Did you learn anything useful?

hollysteers Sat 06-Nov-21 09:35:25

Monet, so full of the beauty of life.

Do you need pets in your life?

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Nov-21 09:17:27

No, but I’m glad that you’ve mentioned this Molly
Which company do you use? I have looked at the Jacquie Lawson ones, but wasn’t that keen

Who is your favourite artist?

Mollygo Sat 06-Nov-21 09:03:12

Sorry FC-crossed post.
How am I feeling? Busy! Expecting visitors, needing to post return items and HOW have I managed to run out of milk?

Same as my last question.

Mollygo Sat 06-Nov-21 09:00:38

Yes, but fewer than I used to, partly because folk have died and partly because new friends like e-cards-great for watching and listening to but no need to hang them.
My season of goodwill was given a nudge yesterday when a Christmas card arrived with the post!

Do you send/receive e-cards for any occasion?

FannyCornforth Sat 06-Nov-21 08:57:41

Yes, but fewer and fewer sad

How are you feeling today?

AGAA4 Sat 06-Nov-21 08:40:00

No not usually. I used to tip the young man who delivered newspapers but don't have them now.

Do you send Christmas cards?

biglouis Sat 06-Nov-21 01:00:54

I rarely see the dustman because being mobility impaired my nephew brings the bins in/out for me.

Do you give a christmas present to people like the postman?

Being in business I have a regular pickup postman and delivery people for Fedex etc so I just buy them a half bottle of spirits. Even if they dont drink they can use it in cooking or gift it to someone else. However I know my postie likes a glass of whisky with lemon!

BBbevan Fri 05-Nov-21 13:51:13

Yes I do. It is so disappointing when he just drives past.

Do you give a gift to the dustman?, we always give them a tub of chocolates.

henetha Fri 05-Nov-21 10:52:23

I paperclip each card to strong gold thread hanging from a nail quite high up on the wall, so they are displayed vertically.

Do you look forward to the post arriving each day? I do. I find it quite exciting. (sad, miserable life I lead!! smile)

Bellanonna Fri 05-Nov-21 09:02:03

Replying to Danni - I’m always early

Replying to AGA I live outside a London suburban town

How do you display the Christmas cards that you receive?

AGAA4 Fri 05-Nov-21 08:55:53

No. I usually spend Christmas with one of my children and if I was on my own I wouldn't need much.

Do you live in a city, town, countryside or near the sea?

DanniRae Fri 05-Nov-21 08:17:54

Yes, I have an ongoing shopping list fixed with a magnetic clip to the side of the microwave. I will be 'unclipping' it today to take with me shopping.
I also have a notebook by me in the living room to write reminders down of things I have to do or remember.

Are you always early or always late for appointments?

ginny Fri 05-Nov-21 08:01:01

No, I’m just gradually buying or making the normal things we like to have. Anything we can’t get we won’t have.

Do you ( on a regular basis) write lists to help you remember what you have to do or buy ?
