I absolutely hate it. Im always afraid Ill miss them and I dont like stuff being left with neighbours.

No point worrying, will just be careful. Lucky as have no major money worries. Feel sorry for those who do.

Yes most of my meals are made from scratch with the odd ready meal when I am feeling lazy.

Are you concerned about what this winter will bring with rising energy costs.

Would never go on a cruise, COVID or no COVID-19. Norovirus for one, but I’m dreadfully travel sick…

Do you cook from scratch for most of your meals?

Yes they did - Dad not until he was very old, it was horrific and all his friends were killed. He was in the RAF flying. Mum all the time also in the RAF but on the ground.

Would you go on a cruise since we have had Covid ?

Loved being on the back of a flashy scooter with a mod in his parka anorak! No helmets in those days, scary to think of it now

Artificial for a few years now. I love the smell of real trees but the pooch likes to chew the branches or dislodge the baubles.

real or artificial Christmas tree? we usually have artificial rarely have visitors so just me and my partner but last year my partner had just lost his mother so I had a big real tree to try and make Christmas better for him like in childhood

We always call them ‘ bread rolls’ as we lived for a while in the ‘home counties’. But I think here in Wales it may be cobs .

When we moved from Wales my mother went into a butchers for some ‘faggots’. She was told rather unkindly they were ‘savoury ducks’.

M&S do a three-variety pack of small bread rolls. my favourite is the seeded one.

Bread rolls are called 'cobs' here in the east midlands, what do you call them where you are?

No never, but I can remember my Dad checking them on a Saturday afternoon. I do the lottery sometimes though.

Not now. Maybe when I was younger. I must be quite wonderful to see planet Earth from space.

Do you ever, or did you ever, do the football pools? I occasionally get mail from them urging me to try again.

I have fed the garden birds all through the winter in the past but........I've read something that has said it's not a good idea to feed them. I can't remember why. Now I don't know what to do for the best? It's mainly sparrows that come to my garden.

You’ve reminded me I’ve got one of those somewhere. I must use it on my aching shoulder. As they’re filled with wheat seeds, I wonder if they still grow if wet or maybe microwave heat ‘kills’ them.

Both, when we could. 2 week breaks were often with family so short breaks were more restful.

Do you have/use heat packs that you warm in the microwave?

No, I haven’t. If I did it would just be for fun. Don’t believe in any of that sort of thing. Eg… Tarot cards, shape of thumbs, length of toes, phycics.

Which do you like best a fortnights holiday or a few short breaks ?

I don’t diet and am not unhappy with my weight, apart from some extra inches around my middle.
When I’m worried or upset, I completely lose my appetite and my weight can drop rather dramatically.

I don't read as much as I did before lockdown and a friend said the same thing. Strange?

Yes, recipes, knitting patterns etc.

I seem to have stopped reading over lockdown and haven’t ‘t resumed. I used to be an avid reader. Is there anything you do, or don’t do that is strange and unexplained?
