Welcome to the Fourth Thread, Questioners and Answerers!

Are you feeling Autumnal?

crazyH Mon 18-Oct-21 11:08:01

Dull, overcast and drizzling. Haven’t done much this morning except for a long telephone chat with a friend. 50+ Committee Meeting this afternoon….not feeling up to it, but will have to go, as I missed the last one.

Do you feel that you are all the time, trying to please others and not strong enough to stand up for yourself ?

BBbevan Mon 18-Oct-21 09:07:22

En-suite!!!!

BBbevan Mon 18-Oct-21 09:06:58

Yes 3 W suites and 3 loos, but we only use one really.

It is pouring here. Have you plans for the day?

biglouis Mon 18-Oct-21 01:08:01

My favorite colour scheme is blue and green.

Do you have more than one loo in your house?

I have a downstairs one as well as the one in the bathroom. Very useful when you are not good on the stairs.

BBbevan Sun 17-Oct-21 16:05:34

We were still students, so two days in London. We didn’t really need a honeymoon !

We are in the middle of decorating the spare bedroom.
Do you have a colour that predominates in your house.? Ours is green

TillyTrotter Sun 17-Oct-21 16:03:15

It was a short break (it was March and the Lake District). Snowy, blowing a hooley, and I had flimsy clothes with me !!

Are you a dog lover or a cat person?

henetha Sun 17-Oct-21 12:16:17

Sunday is ok so far. I've got niggly worries which won't stop bothering me. But I had eggs and bacon for the first time in ages. And the sun is bright and cheerful.

Did you have a wonderful honeymoon? Somewhere lovely?
Or could you not afford one?

crazyH Sun 17-Oct-21 11:31:02

Haven’t used an umbrella in years - all my coats and jackets (except one ) have hoods.

How’s your Sunday going? I had a lie-in, late breakfast and doing some washing.

BBbevan Sun 17-Oct-21 10:57:17

Those ones about Dormea? Beds. They just go on and on and DH always says Dolmeo.

Do you use an umbrella , a hood, or nothing at all in the rain?

FannyCornforth Sun 17-Oct-21 09:33:42

Don’t forget life insurance Molly!
I’m considering getting the new Sky Glass TV, because it edits out all the adverts.

I can’t stand the Hey Car advert with the angry/ smug beardy fellow who gurns his way through ‘I’ve got a good feeling’ or whatever it’s called.
I hope that we should see the back of it soon. It’s also all over LBC angry

Same question as Mollys

Mollygo Sun 17-Oct-21 09:24:22

A necklace bought by DH for my 30th. A gold chain with a charm matched by the earrings. Never fails to make me feel good and I’ve never seen one like it since.

Most irritating advert at the moment, excluding those about funerals, cremations and erectile disfunction!

FannyCornforth Sun 17-Oct-21 05:20:08

No. Just having the one job has been a challenge!

What is your favourite piece of jewellery?

biglouis Sat 16-Oct-21 22:20:05

Losing my independence and having to go into a care home. Id rather cut my throat with a rusty saw!

Have you ever had a side hustle (paying hobby or job on top of your full time one)?

I began selling surplus stuff stuff on Ebay back in the 1990s when it first opened. I gradually turned it into an antiques business with several shops which bring me a very useful income to top up my various pensions.

GrannyMacawell Sat 16-Oct-21 17:06:00

In an office near where they film strictly. ..that is as interesting as i could make it

What is your biggest fear?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 16-Oct-21 16:40:00

It would be in the most unromantic setting of the engineering department at the HQ of a very well known high street shop.

Same question again.

hollysteers Sat 16-Oct-21 13:28:12

No, but my mother in law used to go. I don’t think she bought anything. (I’ve inherited all her Victorian stuff…)

If you had to marry your significant other at the place you first met, where would it be?
(Lawyer’s office)

BBbevan Fri 15-Oct-21 14:11:14

We used to have the most fantastic car boot sales here in the summer. Sadly Lockdown has stopped them. Really hoping they restart next year.

How about auctions. Anyone indulge there.

biglouis Fri 15-Oct-21 11:59:12

I use cameras a lot because I sell online and have several shops. I have several cameras I use but never a phone in the camera because they cant compare in facilities. I have never entered a competition.

Do you ever go to boot sales, jumbles or charity shops?

I used to love rummaging in them but am not very mobile nowadays.

henetha Fri 15-Oct-21 10:08:06

Sorry. Got in a muddle there.

Some enchanted Sausage..

henetha Fri 15-Oct-21 10:06:15

I love French films and always look for them in the tv guide or on Netflix. With sub-titles of course. My schoolgirl French is
pathetic.

Are you keen on photography? Do you use a camera other than your mobile phone one? Do you enter any photographic competitions?

TillyTrotter Fri 15-Oct-21 08:43:30

Sausage on My Mind
(I’ve got) Friday on My Mind - The Easybeats

And another one?

Not very often but always baking.

Do you make your own Christmas cake or puddings ?

grandMattie Thu 14-Oct-21 15:49:08

Yes. I sleep very badly so try to factor one in.

Do you make your own jam/marmalade/chutney?

crazyH Thu 14-Oct-21 14:40:48

Question : do you have a daily siesta?
