Have you ever sung to a crowd ? Drunk or sober !

Yes, lots of times.
I was in quite a few shows when I was young (about 10-11).
I don’t think that I had a good voice ; I was just very confident (which is odd really, because under normal circumstances I’m not at all).
And then as a teacher I wasn’t afraid to make a bit of a tit of myself; and when alcohol has been taken I am more than happy to do a Song from the Shows medley (I’d make a very good camp gay man).

What is your karaoke song? (Real or imaged - a song that you sing well)

Mine are George Michael’s Faith, or Copacabana.

What song always gets you up on the dance floor? Mine is Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy?" My family, however, have banned me from dancing to it because if drink has been taken I get a bit carried away

What song would stop you dancing and make you go back to your seat? Mine is Dancing Queen by Abba. So dull to dance to.

Do you go dancing now or when you were younger? I used to dance for hours but couldn't manage that now.

Jazz clubs were the thing when I was a student. Just loved dancing. DH was into Northern Soul, so never did the Twain meet. But I will dance on my own if I have to.

Mid afternoon and I always fancy just a little something sweet. Do you find this. ?

Oh goodness I have to confess when I read the title on this I misread "fifth" as "Filth" think my eyesight needs checked hahahaha

I used to enjoy afternoon tea with my grandma when I was younger. Now I find that if I eat in mid afternoon it makes me feel sleepy and unpleasantly full.

If you had to declutter your home where would you begin?

My garage is full of junk so its a good job I dont drive!

I’d start in my garage as well. Though my excuse is that our car wouldn’t fit in the garage. Next I’d do wardrobes.

Today was beautiful, warm and sunny. We met so many people when we went out after work. Has it been busier near you?

What is your idea of a perfect day for your birthday?

At my age, I’d rather forget I’m one year older.
We (family) usually go out for a meal, that’s it. I do enjoy eating out. I’m on my own, so I don’t do that very often.

What is your menu choice when you eat out? If you have just 2 courses, would it be ‘starter and main course’ OR ‘main and dessert’ ?

Main and dessert for me. I love desserts as I don't often have them at home, other than a yoghurt. Also, a starter can fill you up too much and spoil the main course.
But I just love eating out, so whatever!

How is your eyesight? Do you need glasses for distance, or for reading?

I’m long sighted and wear glasses but use contacts regularly, a bit if a faff. An optician told me that if I have a cataract op, I won’t need anything! Tempting but no cataracts (yet).

What minor ailment bothers you most?

I get blinding headaches from time to time. They usually pass in a few minutes but not always.

What are you planning for this fine spring day?

The sun is shining here and very warm (oooop north) so I am going to sit in the garden for a bit before lunch.

Lovely hear but windy so a little walk down to the sea after lunch I think, then the last episode of ‘Hidden’ on iplayer.

I just found two Christmas puddings at the back of the cupboard. Would you eat then asap or save them ?

I think I'd throw them away, after looking at the best before date, but if not too old they might be safe - isn't the spice and sugar meant to help preserve them safely?

Where's your favourite walk? If you don't walk, what would be your best place to visit by other means?

I love to walk by the river in the country park or sometimes along the canal path.

Oh the misery of hay fever….my nose ? is itching already. Do you suffer from hay fever?

Yes and I sympathise. No problems just now but I need to stock up on my medication.

Where would you go this sunny weekend if you could?

Travel south to Lymington Quay and have fish and chips, plus a Bacardi and coke whilst watching the comings and goings of the boat people.

What is your favourite topping for toast?

Cheese.

Favourite cartoon as a child?
I liked Peanuts.
I still buy anything with Snoopy on it, and I love the music of Vince Guarado (I know that’s spelled wrong)
