My DIL has been in hospital to give birth for the past 40 hours. Two hours ago my son texted that they’re doing a cesarean. I’m thinking about how it’s all going and if I should bother my son with a text!

Shall I take my Cards round the cul de sac now or leave it till later this afternoon (when it’s dark and I can round in my joggers)

I hope the decorator doesn't finish too late on our hall and stairs. I have to get up there to get ready for our (carefully distanced) night out.
