Henetha, sorry to hear about your fall. Take it easy for the next few days flowers

crazyH Wed 19-Jan-22 18:59:36

Kittylester, I just had the most delicious cottage pie, kind courtesy of my son’s mother-in-law. ? Enjoy yours ?

Wondering what's for dinner? I'm feeling peckish.

Watching the Welsh news

EkwaNimitee Wed 19-Jan-22 18:13:27

Drinking a glass of white wine while dinner cooks.

That was a nasty shock for you Henetha, I hope you’re feeling ok now.

TillyTrotter Sun 16-Jan-22 10:46:19

Thank goodness your neighbours heard you and assisted you indoors. A friend did similar to you last August and her neighbours all rallied round.
Her face was bruised, sore and all colours for about 10 days.

henetha Sun 16-Jan-22 10:35:03

Thank you, ladies. You are kind. It was yesterday afternoon.
I tripped on something on the front driveway and landed on my face. The amount of blood was quite frightening,. I couldn't get up so lay there shouting for help until some kind neighbours appeared and picked me up.

Have an easy day henetha. You can feel quite fragile after a fall.

TillyTrotter Sun 16-Jan-22 10:26:28

Oh henetha I’m very sorry to hear that. Was it frosty and therefore slippy where you fell?
Get yourself comfortable somewhere warm and let Gransnet keep you occupied for a while. ?
I hope you soon recover.

henetha Sun 16-Jan-22 10:21:21

Feeling very sorry for myself. I fell over yesterday and now have a black eye, amongst other bruises..

Just having a cuppa before bed after coming home from a fun night with friends.

rubysong Sat 15-Jan-22 23:12:46

Watching snooker. I have become fascinated by it since the lockdowns started. It is both relaxing and exciting.
Also thinking about a packet of crisps which is in a nearby cupboard.

Jangran99 Sat 15-Jan-22 18:50:36

Boring football on television, wish Strictly was still on.

LauraNorderr Sat 15-Jan-22 17:21:17

Sitting thinking of posting on here that it’s only 71 days until the clocks go forward.
Now thinking of pressing ‘post’.

HillyN Sat 15-Jan-22 17:14:46

Namsnanny Sat 15-Jan-22 15:58:26

Yes sadly, agree with you, but like my habit of watching C street, I suppose I shall keep hoping things improve!

Grandpajo Sat 15-Jan-22 14:56:59

At Devils dyke with the beautiful views thinking what a great game this is?

Ladyleftfieldlover Sat 15-Jan-22 14:56:20

Listening to 1990s Trance and thinking about making a cake.

NannyJan53 Sat 15-Jan-22 14:55:28

Just made pastry and it is now resting in the fridge for 30minutes. Then I will make mincepies with the remains of the homemade mincemeat.

Hence browsing on here. MrJ has gone out for a cycle ride

Aldom

Sitting browsing GN and thinking about whether to have my main meal now or just a salad.

Sitting browsing on GN and wondering why on earth I am wasting my time with it....it has become the most depressing forum I know.
Only saved by the games threads.
Off to do something useful now.
