Delighted to get it in 8 today! (To get it at all, really)

It’s difficult to explain Quordle, and the instructions don’t really help! Yes, you’re basically playing 4 grids at once, but I find it easier to concentrate on them individually. I usually start by just using a couple of words that contain different letters, then have a look to see if any of the four have enough letters showing as correct to be worth guessing. Sometimes it takes 3 stabs in the dark to take a few more letters out of the equation before looking at each word. It should become clearer when you play it. You’ve got 9 goes to get the 4 words in, so it’s very doable.

Then you can move on to Octordle.

Today's effort. For first time ever got Wordle in 2.

Comments have been helpful. I clearly didn’t have a system but now I’m doing quite well on my practice attempts.

26 today. Missed the last few days.

I do vary the first word but mostly its TRAIN. From there stay with those that have green squares. Got left with one with lots of yellow squares today - so very lucky.

Using my system I nearly always get all words, though need to remember that repeated letters in a word are common and Y may substitute for a vowel

I have a system too - first word is always HOIST. Second word BARED, or another combination of those letters. Between those 2 words I often have 3 or 4 letters in some of the words. If there's H, it may be combined with S, T, or C.
A third word I may use is PLUCK

Ah, thanks kissngate. That sounds like a good idea. I’ll give it a try.

Bell - I usually use all the vowels in the first two words ie arise / tough. Then regardless of where the vowels are I use as many unused letters as I can in the next word trying to link in with a vowel in the correct position. This usually gives me a good idea of some words. Hope it helps.

Does anyone have a method they stick with? I try to work out the word in one grid at a time and just concentrate on that. I’ve got all 4 just a handful of times, usually 2, or 3 if I’m lucky.
