Good afternoon octordlers. I’ve made up for yesterday’s poor result.
I read your message Fanny as not having heard of the first word in the “normal” Octordle and was a bit surprised. I see now it was one the other versions, that thus far I have resisted trying. (Only because I looked and it looked a bit beyond me!)

Some of the words allowed are indeed barmy.

I learnt two new words yesterday- droit and ascot.

I got really confused too.
I was playing Daily, and thought that I was playing Sequence, so was doing it order.
I was wondering why it was taking so long!

All the barmy words that are allowed, and I discovered today that ‘Delux’ isn’t allowed

If you want ANOTHER octordle, there’s a new Challenge game…. you choose the word-theme you want to try, and pick from the sets provided. So IMHO not really made for results sharing but a nice to have extra time-eater 😉
