Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

Mollygo Thu 07-Jul-22 16:27:41

A huge mown field and a very wild field behind it. I’m walking the dog.

ginny Thu 07-Jul-22 15:48:49

No, nor do I want to.

We are sitting outside our caravan looking at a lovely hillside country view. What is your view at the moment ?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Thu 07-Jul-22 15:19:07

I sometimes play patience as I live alone.

Have you ever been in a casino?

NanKate Thu 07-Jul-22 13:31:44

Yes I do have sympathy for Boris. He has had to face Brexit, Covid, War in Ukraine, his colleagues with their knives out for him.

What card/board game do you enjoy ?

AGAA4 Thu 07-Jul-22 12:51:30

Yes. Happy to be a woman.

Do you have any sympathy for Boris? I really don't and I am usually a softie.

hollysteers Thu 07-Jul-22 11:47:45

No, not here.

Are you happy to be the sex you are?

Mollygo Thu 07-Jul-22 11:11:03

Were any of your local buses painted for the Jubilee? We have a few.

Mollygo Thu 07-Jul-22 11:09:57

A lovely vanilla (clotted cream version) is excellent, but I am looking forward to a coffee icecream when we get to France.

henetha Thu 07-Jul-22 11:06:51

I'm now rooting for Ed Davey, as I'm a lifelong liberal/democrat. I used to respect Ann Widdicombe as at least I always felt she was telling the truth. And there is a MP for Plymouth, ex military Johnny Mercer whom I respect.

I'm enjoying lots of ice-cream now the weather is warmer.
Do you have a favourite? I love anything with cherries, but also a good vanilla takes a lot of beating.

FannyCornforth Thu 07-Jul-22 10:37:53

I’m pretty certain that I already have done.
I flitter between LibDem, Labour & Green.

Is there a politician that you admire?

biglouis Thu 07-Jul-22 10:34:56

I would not vote for any of them. They are all corrupt robber barons. Im beginning to understand how the far right came to power in Germany after WW!

Would you ever vote for the Green party?

FannyCornforth Thu 07-Jul-22 07:41:19

Ah! MrKen (the legitimate one) sounds my type of chap. smile

Next PM: JRM. We may as well just go the whole hog (the whole Mogg?) and make colossal fools of ourselves and have a huge laugh.
And he’s preferable to Patel. (It’s unbelievable isn’t it? sad)

And then that sensible Mr Starmer can take over and we will all try to regain some national composure.

What do you think?

MrsKen33 Thu 07-Jul-22 07:31:53

When younger I loved 7 Brides, kiss me Kate. Those sort of film musical Now not so much, but DH loves Les Miz. We have seen all film versions and he even puts it on when he does the ironing ( his turn)

Who next for PM? I haven’t a clue

FannyCornforth Thu 07-Jul-22 06:11:57

Answer to Kate’s question:
Fred Astaire. Now I’ve got a new hip, only the very best for me! wink

Do you like musicals? Which are your favourite?
I love them.
Singing’ in the Rain; Cabaret; JCSuperstar; An American in Paris; Sweeney Todd…

biglouis Wed 06-Jul-22 23:32:04

Answered wrong question! Would not say no to Henry Cavill who played Charles Brandon in The Tudors.

biglouis Wed 06-Jul-22 23:29:30

Ive started to cut down on food treats like cakes and biscuits.

When you have workmen in do you offer to make them drinks? Or just point them to where the kettle/supplies/fridge are and tell them to help themselves?

I have to do the latter being mobility impaired. I have men currently working in my bathroom and I cant carry anything up and down stairs. They seem quite happy with cold canned drinks in this warm weather.

NanKate Wed 06-Jul-22 22:08:20

Dirty finger nails.

Who would you like to dance round the floor with ?

hollysteers Wed 06-Jul-22 20:59:49

No never, but probably saw them about, can’t remember.

What do you find unattractive in a man? (Tattoos and bad table manners)

biglouis Wed 06-Jul-22 15:04:40

No never! Only an ordinary bike.

Have you ever ridden in an old fashioned moter bike with sidecar?

When I was a kid one of my uncles had one. I used to love it.

MrsKen33 Wed 06-Jul-22 14:31:14

Yes and I started again a few years ago when I was 70

Have you ever been on a tandem?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Wed 06-Jul-22 13:05:29

I loved English and Art, hated PE, science and maths.

Can you/do you ride a bicycle?

SachaMac Wed 06-Jul-22 10:58:30

No but I would have loved to learn to play the piano.

What was your favourite lesson in Secondary School, English Lit & Home Economics were mine. I hated PE & Maths.

henetha Wed 06-Jul-22 10:45:48

Yes, very. Proud to be British, English, Devonshire. Not blind to my country's faults, but love it just the same.

Can you play a musical instrument? I learned piano as a child.

MrsKen33 Wed 06-Jul-22 06:05:15

Walked to primary, and home for lunch.
Cycled to grammar school.

Are you patriotic ?

hollysteers Tue 05-Jul-22 23:49:42

Probably I should downsize, but it’s not a massive house, although the garden is too big. Frankly I can’t face it now and am happy to muddle along.

How did you get to school as a child?
(Walked)
