Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

ginny Tue 28-Jun-22 15:18:06

Yes, both my parents did.

What is the most frightening weather experience you have had?

I think mine was taking the caravan awning down at 3 in the morning. Torrential rain, and strong winds. Thought everything would be tipped over. The caravan next door had its awning ripped off.

AGAA4 Tue 28-Jun-22 15:16:45

No. Different times then. Children had to amuse themselves or play pretend games with friends.

Have you had a fourth booster jab?

biglouis Tue 28-Jun-22 12:31:10

I dont eat eggs - I am allergic to them.

When you were a child did your parents ever join you in "imaginitive" play? As opposed to playing with balls, games etc.

Mine never did - I was left more or less to myself. However I would play for hours with just a few stones or shells or anything else that came to hand.

Sweet….traditional & simple for me, lemon or orange juice and a sprinkling of sugar.

What is your favourite kind of omelette.

FannyCornforth Tue 28-Jun-22 11:38:51

Yes! I’ll start a thread!smile

henetha Tue 28-Jun-22 11:33:59

No. I don't know what the Myers Briggs personality test is.
(good wishes Fanny, hope you are ok). Can anybody do it?

What is your favourite filling for pancakes? Sweet or savoury?

FannyCornforth Tue 28-Jun-22 11:28:47

Bellanonna I’m totally the opposite.
I love the Autumn and Winter.
I must be wired differently to everyone else; I only feel properly myself when it’s drab and chilly.
I feel overwhelmed by brightness and heat. It’s all very odd really.

Have you ever done the Myers Briggs personality test?
(Fourteen Personality Types)

It’s very interesting.
I’ve been thinking of starting a thread about it for a while…

FannyCornforth Tue 28-Jun-22 11:24:03

Thank you Holly, H and Ken, much appreciated ? x
It’s nice to be back, I’m just dipping my toe in the GN waters every now and again.
I’ve missed you too!

Bellanonna Tue 28-Jun-22 11:07:01

Definitely the spring, watching everything slowly creeping back through the ground, opening out, and all the wonderful blossom and wildflowers. Lighter evenings, warmer days. It’s a season of hope.

The same question to anyone who sees it differently.

MrsKen33 Tue 28-Jun-22 05:55:49

Missed you Fanny Hope you are well.

No we have upsized. Big house, bigger garden and near the sea. Keeps us busy.

What is your favourite season and why?

crazyH Mon 27-Jun-22 22:31:41

Yes FC - nice to see you back and wishes for a speedy recovery

I can’t do a thing- I pay people - cleaning, gardening, windows.- there’s no money left after I’ve paid out ?

Have you downsized recently ? Positive vs Negative ?

hollysteers Mon 27-Jun-22 22:16:34

P.S. nice to see you back Fanny and here’s to a complete recovery.

hollysteers Mon 27-Jun-22 22:15:27

I hate the adverts where the man is shown to be a fool and a smug woman takes over.

Are you a pay someone to do it or do it yourself type of person? (I’m the former).

biglouis Mon 27-Jun-22 21:55:51

Marmalade on toast is my favorite.

Which TV advert annoys you the most?

I hate the ones for funeral plans because the funeral industry is such a ripoff.

SachaMac Mon 27-Jun-22 20:56:52

Grape nuts (done overnight served with frozen berries & Greek yoghurt)

I’d go Marmite but what is your favourite thing to have on toast?

MrsKen33 Mon 27-Jun-22 19:42:26

Yes !!!!

Favourite breakfast cereal?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Mon 27-Jun-22 19:17:53

Paddy McGuinness, Zoe Ball and Stacey Dooley.

Is there a celebrity you very much like?

DanniRae Mon 27-Jun-22 12:32:04

Claudia Winkleman - long fringe and acting daft on Strictly
Miriam Margolyes - seems to enjoy shocking people with her bad behaviour
Jeremy Paxman - so intolerant on University Challenge

I am sure I will return with more names!

Mollygo Mon 27-Jun-22 12:19:25

Ditto Holly Willoughby for no real reason. Also Freddie (it’s all about me) Flintoff. I’d honestly rather have Jeremy Clarkson, and o don’t like him much either.
Glad you’re on the other side of the op Fanny. I hope things improve quickly.
Just for fun, who else has a ‘don’t like’ list and who’s on it?

FannyCornforth Mon 27-Jun-22 12:12:08

I’d say Carol Vorderman - but then I have plenty of reasons!
Ditto Anne Robinson, but to a lesser extent.

For absolutely no reason? Holly Willoughby. I know nothing about her, and I’m happy with that!

What about you?
(Hello everyone, btw ? I’ve been keeping myself to myself following my op
Hope that you’re all well smilebrew)

hollysteers Mon 27-Jun-22 12:02:30

I feel very optimistic for the future. This world has gone through terrible countless wars, climate changes etc and is still here. The concentration of bad news on the media is unhealthy for us if we become enslaved by it.

Which celebrity/star do you dislike for no particular reason?
(Nicole Kidman)

henetha Mon 27-Jun-22 10:57:40

I wouldn't want to delve into anything which would unsettle me now that I have survived so many slings and arrows and arrived at a level of contentment which I can cope with.
I think of the dark web as being something evil.

So let's be optimistic... what makes you feel optimistic about the future? Can we overcome all the doom and gloom?
Will the planet survive? Will wars end?

MrsKen33 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:24:55

Absolutely no knowledge of it. I think of it as sinister and illegal, and pornographic ? I don’t know why. Perhaps it’s the’Dark’.

Interesting question though
What are other’s opinions?

crazyH Sun 26-Jun-22 18:11:59

The Dark Web conjures up some unsavoury images in my mind. No, I haven’t logged on to it. TBH I dont know much about it,so it’ll be interesting to see if the next poster does.

Same question to the poster that follows

biglouis Sun 26-Jun-22 17:24:50

I rarely buy new clothes - cant remember when I did and would probably not bother altering them except for the length of skirts.

Have you ever been on the Dark Web?

Ive used it to buy prescription only medicines. I have a special laptop which I only use for that. Its like exploring an unlnown country where the main currency is bitcoin.
