Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

nanna8 Wed 08-Jun-22 07:55:27

Any sort of car maintenance. I’d no sooner change a flat tyre than fly to the moon.

Do you like cushions and/or do you have a lot ?

FannyCornforth Wed 08-Jun-22 06:40:52

No! I’m as unsporty and adventurous as you can get.
I can’t really swim either.
Uncoordinated too.
Bit of a disaster really!

What are you really rubbish at?

MrsKen33 Wed 08-Jun-22 06:16:21

DH is forever going on about a canoe or a kayak.I mean we are both 77, I think that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. So a big fat NO.

How about paddle boarding?

Mollygo Tue 07-Jun-22 19:38:37

Yes so far. I wouldn’t choose the hydrofoil on a choppy day again though. No wonder they call it the ‘vomit comet!’

Would you go in a canoe now, (single or
multi-person?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Tue 07-Jun-22 16:02:51

It was probably Normandy but was quite a long time ago. We went on the cross-channel ferry to Cherbourg.

Are you a good sailor?

AGAA4 Tue 07-Jun-22 15:37:08

I am not interested in flying off anywhere at the moment.

Where did you go on your last holiday?

biglouis Tue 07-Jun-22 14:44:15

No I didnt attend any jubilee parties or events. I have an major upcoming electrical job in my house - possible complete rewiring - and have to start packing and organizing stuff.

Are you planning to fly in the forseeable future?

I am not. Even if I were the queues and chaos at airports would be a big turn off. Not to mention the cancellations.

crazyH Tue 07-Jun-22 13:10:47

I am pretty well organised….over the last year, I have previously scanned old photos on to the laptop and then, I found a marvellous app, ‘send anywhere’ which on command, sends photos from one device to another. I have also put them into various folders, by dates/occasions etc etc. Worthwhile project….try it SachaMac

Did you attend any Jubilee Parties? My d.I.l.s parents organised a bring-a-plate in her garden. There were about 25 of us - was very nice.

SachaMac Tue 07-Jun-22 12:58:05

Mine is in spring, it can be lovely weather or freezing & snowing.

What have you done with all your old photos, are they in some kind of order or just shoved in old albums or shoe boxes. I keep meaning to sort mine out but just end up taking a trip down memory lane & end up putting them back as they were.

AGAA4 Tue 07-Jun-22 12:28:55

No. I have been in town this morning and only saw one person wearing one.

In which season is your birthday? Mine is in summer.

Bellanonna Tue 07-Jun-22 10:59:20

I dislike parties. I like the company of friends.

Are you still wearing a mask in shops/on transport?

nanna8 Tue 07-Jun-22 10:18:46

I don’t like heights, especially if there is no safety rail. I once got trapped on a cliff when I was little and it started then.

Are you a party dude or do you prefer just being with one or two friends ?
I like both, personally.

FannyCornforth Tue 07-Jun-22 10:10:30

Tankini, sarong, floppy hat, and a huge gin and tonic in the shade.
Or preferably a cotton sundress.
I am not at all comfortable in that environment!

Where are you uncomfortable?

hollysteers Tue 07-Jun-22 10:02:51

Ginger marmalade.

Are you a bikini, one piece, tankini, shorts or sarong person on the beach?

henetha Tue 07-Jun-22 09:59:39

Apart from marmalade which I like, I do sometimes have peanut butter on toast and it's scrummy. And cheese on toast, of course.

What's your favourite jam? I like a bit of sharpness, so blackcurrant.

FannyCornforth Tue 07-Jun-22 07:15:18

My favourite used to be M&S cheese and celery on brown bread; but they don’t make them any more.
And their Brie and grape ?
I currently like my own grated cheddar and mozzarella with mayo and lettuce, in brown baps.

Favourite thing on toast?
Unsurprisingly, mine is ?

MrsKen33 Tue 07-Jun-22 05:46:49

Yes I do. We often had kippers for tea on a Sunday when I lived at home. Still like them but they do repeat a bit.

Favourite sandwich ? Prawn and mayo for me.

henetha Mon 06-Jun-22 22:34:25

Normally not,.but it was so cold here this weekend that I simply had to.
Just for a short while though.

Do you like kippers? Or never tasted them?

Mollygo Mon 06-Jun-22 22:05:35

Thermal vests from M&S and fluffy socks.

Do you ever put the heating on in June?

ginny Mon 06-Jun-22 21:58:51

No, I don’t have anything . I wasn’t alive when the coronation took place.

I went back into my winter jumpers yesterday and today.
Is there any item of clothing you think keeps you particularly warm ?

MrsKen33 Mon 06-Jun-22 18:13:39

Yes I can. I was six I think and remember being told at school that the King had died. We watched the Coronation on nexts doors television.

Do you have any Coronation ephemera.? I have an ashtray and a small glare mug

biglouis Mon 06-Jun-22 17:28:59

At this moment I dont see anyone to replace him! None of the others have any personality. However I foresee he will be gone before the end of the year.

Can you remember back to when the queen succeeded or has she always "been there" for you?

When I was a child of 8 in 1952 I complained to my parents that there was no pop music on the radio because I wanted to listen to radio Luxemburg. My mother snapped "The king's dead, have some respect child." I remember that everyone was genuinely very sad.

AGAA4 Mon 06-Jun-22 11:28:51

He may get through but having a vote of no confidence will hang heavy and he may be gone soon after.

Do you feel we need a new PM now?

FannyCornforth Mon 06-Jun-22 11:23:18

I have cut my own hair (badly) in the past.
I’ve always really hated going to the hairdresser.
Now it’s longer and curly I just snip the straggly ends off.
I’ve been dying my own hair since I was in my teens.
It really needs doing again, my greying roots are a few inches long.
But I can’t bend over the bath to rinse it out - too painful.
I’m trying to think of alternative way of doing it…

What do you reckon will happen with Johnson this evening?

henetha Mon 06-Jun-22 10:55:49

No. I hope the monarchy continues indefinitely. But in a slimmed down version.

Have you ever cut your own hair? Or coloured your own hair?
