Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

Mollygo Fri 29-Apr-22 09:24:23

Whelks! Once tried, never forgotten. Like chewing a rubber bung!

Do you ever get up early just for fun? I was awake at 6 this morning, so I decided to go into work for an hour and get some paperwork done and printed, even though I’m not teaching today! Feels good.

hollysteers Thu 28-Apr-22 20:37:54

Red, which figures as it’s my star sign colour (load of bunkum?)

Is there a food you have decided you will never eat? (Veal)

BlueBalou Thu 28-Apr-22 19:14:46

My first day at school I was terrified! The school seemed huge and I’d never spent anytime anywhere away from my mother ?

What is your favourite colour?

Mollygo Thu 28-Apr-22 17:53:41

I met a girl who is still a friend now. But my astonishment at having to walk over half a mile across a main road and down a street, to get to the dining hall was only equalled by being made to lie down on a camp bed for a rest in the afternoon!

What about anyone else’s first day?

AGAA4 Thu 28-Apr-22 16:08:02

I was born in a nursing home. My mum wouldn't go into hospital as her earlier baby died as the breech birth wasn't handled properly.

Do you remember your first day at school?

crazyH Thu 28-Apr-22 16:01:39

Question : were you born in hospital or at home ? I was born at home, youngest of 9 children.

crazyH Thu 28-Apr-22 15:59:56

Yes, I have someone to cut the grass, once a fortnight, a window cleaner once every few weeks and a cleaner, once a fortnight (because I am allergic to house dust etc). I am allergic to housework, full stop.

henetha Thu 28-Apr-22 15:45:23

Yes, before my last knee replacement, and for just a few weeks afterwards. I'm thinking about it again as I feel a bit wobbly at times.

A nice young man has just cut the grass today, and he also does the windows. Do you have reliable help with these things, and any other help, cleaners, decorators etc?

ginny Thu 28-Apr-22 13:28:15

Salted Caramel is my favourite.

I’m having to use a walking stick today due to an unexplained foot problem
Have you ever or do you use a walking stick ?

BlueBalou Thu 28-Apr-22 12:21:42

Nemesias stupid autocorrect...?

BlueBalou Thu 28-Apr-22 12:20:56

Definitely sweetpeas and roses but I also love nemesis and heliotrope.

What is your favourite ice cream flavour?

AGAA4 Thu 28-Apr-22 12:16:48

I used to love mowing. The smell of a newly mown lawn is lovely. We have communal gardens now so a gardener does all the work.

What are your favourite summer flowers?

BBbevan Thu 28-Apr-22 10:35:32

No , we only plant what will grow again the next year. We have such a large garden that we try to limit planting.

DH is out weeding. He loves it, getting everything neat and tidy. Do you have a favourite garden job?

Mollygo Thu 28-Apr-22 10:10:58

Drive every time-or share the driving on a long trip!

Have you planted out any bedding plants yet? The supermarkets and garden centres are full of them.

hollysteers Thu 28-Apr-22 09:29:43

Imperial, but now it’s just me here, I don’t do much cooking.

Do you prefer to drive or be driven?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Tue 26-Apr-22 16:16:28

When it's very hot I wear dresses as I find them cooler and more comfortable.

When cooking do you use metric or imperial measurements?

AGAA4 Tue 26-Apr-22 10:55:17

My winter clothes are never far away as there are some chilly summer days too.

Do you wear dresses in summer or mostly trousers/skirts and tops?

BBbevan Tue 26-Apr-22 10:47:42

Yes ,just yesterday. Wash and iron them next.

Do you leave just a few winter clothes, just in case?

henetha Tue 26-Apr-22 10:26:51

Yes, quite a lot really. And I talk to Wiggy , which is the same as talking to myself. grin

Have you unpacked your summer clothes yet?

AGAA4 Tue 26-Apr-22 09:58:34

Sometimes tell myself off as in "come on Aga get off the sofa and do something useful!"

Same question please.

hollysteers Tue 26-Apr-22 00:12:19

Only spent a little time at Brownies in the bluetit patrol.
Wasn’t for me.

Do you talk to yourself?

Mollygo Mon 25-Apr-22 18:55:39

Plaster casts-earliest memory. I was about 2-3, but they hampered my playing!

BBbevan Mon 25-Apr-22 17:53:50

My Dad and Grandma ( maternal) having an argument. I was wearing a red coat and hat and matching leggings..I think I was around 2.

Did you go to Brownies or Girl Guides?

FannyCornforth Mon 25-Apr-22 11:03:06

I was talking yesterday to DH about this yesterday.
I remember sitting on my Nan’s draining board, being washed in the sink.
How old would I have been I wonder? 2,3?

What is your earliest memory?

AGAA4 Mon 25-Apr-22 10:59:20

I look like my great grandmother. There was a picture of her on the wall at my grandma's. She died quite young.

Do you have memories from when you were very young?
