Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

Cancer

Are you just chilling out today after Easter Celebrations ? I am

hollysteers Sun 17-Apr-22 22:51:37

A very good day thank you, chocolate egg, sunshine and peace.

You can delete one thing from planet earth, what is it?

BBbevan Sun 17-Apr-22 17:44:39

I have no allergies to pollen. DH sneezes twice a day, that’s all. Usually in bed when he wakes up. !!!!! No idea why.

Have you had a lovely day today? I hope so.

henetha Sun 17-Apr-22 11:56:42

I have washed mine in the washing machine about twice I think.

Have any of you started sneezing yet? I think it's tree pollen and it seems earlier than usual?

crazyH Sat 16-Apr-22 21:43:38

Where do I start? House dust, Cats, Dogs, Wholemeal bread.

Somewhere else, there's a thread about washing duvets. Be honest, how often do you take your duvet to the Laundry? I never have - I change the duvet covers and that's it ?

Silver rings. I have one DH bought me when I was seventeen

My DD cannot wear most jewellery as she is allergic to the nickel used in a lot of things. Have you any allergies?

AGAA4 Sat 16-Apr-22 14:55:07

Yes along with some others but I rarely wear my jewellery now and may give it to my DDs and GD.

What jewellery do you wear the most, rings, necklaces etc?

maddyone Sat 16-Apr-22 13:24:00

Some to my daughter, some to my daughter in law, some to my only granddaughter, and probably some to my daughter in law’s daughter (she’s not my granddaughter) and all the rest to be sold and the proceeds distributed among my sons and grandsons.

Do you love diamonds?

crazyH Sat 16-Apr-22 13:22:54

Sorry, “9carat stuff you get here” - I didn’t mean to sound condescending - apologies …

crazyH Sat 16-Apr-22 13:20:10

Yes I do - but not the 9 carat stuff you get here. Mine are all 22 carat. I have one or two pieces of costume jewellery. I am in the process of allocating (Will) a couple of pieces each for the d.I.ls - the rest will go to my daughter. The only reason, d.I.ls will inherit from their mums. My daughter is divorced and has no one but me.
How are you intending to distribute your jewellery?

Fernbergien Sat 16-Apr-22 12:43:37

I have probably sent one in past but not a usual thing.

Do you like jewellery? I do. Good stuff and costume.

hollysteers Sat 16-Apr-22 12:39:21

AGAA4 No, dislike driving convenient as it is, but always have even as a young woman.
A pity, as I love going places.

hollysteers Sat 16-Apr-22 12:36:32

Yes, love them.

Have you sent Easter cards?

maddyone Sat 16-Apr-22 11:11:15

We’re having lamb tomorrow for lunch and one of our sons and his wife are joining us.

Did you have hot cross buns today for breakfast?

AGAA4 Sat 16-Apr-22 11:09:58

I am going out to eat so don't know yet but I guess lamb may be on the menu.

Do you enjoy driving? I like it less and less as I get older.

BBbevan Sat 16-Apr-22 10:48:45

20 more likely if I go to Lidl.

We always had lamb for lunch on Easter Sunday, when I was growing up. We are going to DD’s tomorrow and having turkey.
What will you be having?

henetha Sat 16-Apr-22 10:17:34

No, I won't.

Do you ever go into a shop to buy 4 things and come out with 10?

crazyH Fri 15-Apr-22 14:38:56

P.S. Will check my freezer for fish; if not, omelette…….

crazyH Fri 15-Apr-22 14:37:22

Yes, every Friday, since I started eating solids - today, I had toast for brunch and I will have an Omlette this evening.

Will you be going to any Good Friday service ? I am.

Mollygo Fri 15-Apr-22 12:27:16

The scooter-because I wasn’t allowed one at home. There was one of those, a wheelbarrow, hula hoops and a battered trike for outdoor play.

Do you still have fish on Fridays, particularly Good Friday?

Juliet27 Fri 15-Apr-22 11:38:47

Yes, I used a slate when I first started school and then graduated to sugar paper.

I remember the ‘tune’ to the timetables chant but not always the words!! ?

The Noah’s ark was my favourite classroom toy. What was yours?

BBbevan Fri 15-Apr-22 11:16:16

AGAA4 I remember our head teacher in the Infants doing that. And no we used pencil and paper. The teacher had an easel with a black board and chalk.

We did timestable chanting after lunch every day.Did you do anything similar at school ?

AGAA4 Fri 15-Apr-22 10:48:49

No I hated my first days. I felt abandoned by my mum but the teacher was lovely. I was fascinated by her keeping her hankie in the leg of her bloomers.

Are you old enough to remember slates and chalk when you were learning to write?

Juliet27 Fri 15-Apr-22 10:35:49

The conquering of Everest. Didn’t mean a lot to me at the age of four but I certainly remember hearing about it a lot.

Did you enjoy your first days at school? Being a sensitive child and having a bit of a bully of teacher it didn’t do much for my confidence.

hollysteers Fri 15-Apr-22 10:23:36

Only how stiff I get after walking for a while.

What is the first big news story you remember when young?
