Hello All! ? ?
I’ve tried to be more grammatically correct with the title this time.

Do you enjoy musical theatre?
??
Which is your favourite?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar; Cabaret; Oliver!; Sweeney Todd; Oklahoma
I could go on and on…

SachaMac Tue 26-Jul-22 22:17:27

I just pour my wash liquid into the dosing ball and hope that’s adequate.

I love to peg a line of washing out to dry in the breeze (weather permitting). Ive noticed some of my younger neighbours don’t seem to peg out. Do you hang your washing outside to dry or mostly tumble dry or dry indoors.

Not a planner at all ... don't like routine, only of a Sunday I have a routine ... I am not organised at all perhaps I should though

When washing ... do you measure out your washing powder/ liquid or fabric conditioner or put what you think ? I don't measure it out, often wonder if it says how many washes it supposed to do if someone has actually tried it

Where I was born in Liverpool (back to back terraces 1950s/60s) we had back alleys however I never saw anyone decorate them. Everyone kept their own bit clean and tidy.

Are you a planner or do you prefer to "go with the flow" in organizing your day?

I am a "planner" and I hate it when something unexpected happens to divert me from my set tasks for the day.

Mollygo Tue 26-Jul-22 12:31:17

Yes, and doubly worried because I don’t trust anyone to put it right, just serve up a torrent of excuses and blame.

I keep seeing pictures of alleys behind houses being decorated. We don’t have one since we left Liverpool but have you seen one, or do you actually help with one?

AGAA4 Tue 26-Jul-22 12:08:44

No. I would feel too constricted.

Are you concerned about the way things are going in this country?

hollysteers Tue 26-Jul-22 11:14:38

My wedding ring, which no longer fits me. I should have it altered.

Do you ever wear Spanx or ‘control’ garments??

MrsKen33 Mon 25-Jul-22 17:29:00

I have a silver ring which I wear constantly. DH bought it for me in Arundel when we were both 17 .

Minimalist

What is your most treasured possession (other than your children’s drawings). Mine is a letter from my Mum, when I first got married and left home .

biglouis Mon 25-Jul-22 15:20:09

A big piece of slag glass I inherited from my grandmother.

It has no intrinsic value except for sentiment. She always used it as a door stop and as a child too young to understand the value of things I several times asked her if I could have it. She always answered that she would leave it to me in her will and she did - along with all the contents of her house which was stuffed with antiques.

Do you have any interest in antique or vintage items? Or are you a minimalist?

AGAA4 Sun 24-Jul-22 17:08:06

No. I am not an artist but do enjoy art exhibitions and sometimes buy a painting but they are mostly too expensive for me.

What is your most treasured possession?

MrsKen33 Sun 24-Jul-22 16:55:22

Never lie in. I usually wake between five and six. I’m bored by eight.

Just watching the RA program. Have you ever submitted a work to the Summer Exhibition?

biglouis Sun 24-Jul-22 16:35:43

One (I think) although I dont really know for sure where it is!

Thats because I dont go ut often and always by car or taxi when I do.

What would be your idea of a sunday lie in?

Mine would be about 11 o'clock because I usually get up about 8.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sun 24-Jul-22 14:46:02

I've very few remote controls but sometimes need the most used (TV) and find it's hiding underneath something.

My favourite TV shows would be The Good Life, Open All Hours and Blackadder, anything with Victoria Wood, serious or comedy, though Dinnerladies passed me by.

How many umbrellas do you possess?

SachaMac Sun 24-Jul-22 13:30:52

I remember watching a series called Sam with Mark McManus playing the older Sam In the 70’s with my mum, we loved it, would like to watch it again.
More recently Call the Midwife, Vera, Line of Duty, Broadchurch & currently Stranger Things on NFlix. For comedy I’d go Victoria Wood or Peter Kay & recently really enjoyed Derry Girls.

Same question to next person.

FannyCornforth Sun 24-Jul-22 11:28:23

Oh! You mentioning Poirrot has reminded me of how much I love Jeeves & Wooster with Fry and Laurie. I adore everything about that series.
In fact I’m going to see if I can find it anywhere on all of the various streaming things that I’ve got.

Same question -I think that we are enjoying hearing everyone’s TV favourites ?

AGAA4 Sun 24-Jul-22 11:13:33

I have just watched Cadfael
series again. Would I lie to you is a favourite of mine too. Old series of Poirot as well.

If you feel like watching a comedy what would you choose?

Mollygo Sun 24-Jul-22 10:08:59

TV Big Bang Theory or To the Manor Born or currently, Death in Paradise because I love the Agatha Christie element of gathering all the suspects together for the dénouement.
Film-First Wives Club, or Nine to Five or Waterloo-just for Christopher Plummer.

Now, either add your own to the above question or . . .
Do you ever find a remote control and can’t remember what it’s for?

FannyCornforth Sun 24-Jul-22 05:49:33

Drama: Alan Bleasdale’s GBH.
A masterpiece

Comedy: One Foot in the Grave, The Worst Week of My Life. lots of others.

But yes, overall, GBH

What about you?

MrsKen33 Sun 24-Jul-22 05:12:40

Fine thank you. Slept for8 hours which is good for me. No aches or pains. Quiet day today with the Sunday newspapers and we are just finishing the last episode of Hidden which we are watching again.

What is your most favourite television series, you could watch again and again ?

Ali08 Sun 24-Jul-22 00:00:04

Yes. I actually prefer it that way, or I lose interest or forget about them! I can keep up better with the storyline.

How are you today?

biglouis Sat 23-Jul-22 23:56:49

A loose flowy kaftan which hides all the bulges!

Do you ever binge watch on box sets or a series?

I find if I watch much more than one episode I lose interest so I tend to watch one at a time.

AGAA4 Sat 23-Jul-22 17:18:19

A sleeveless blouse that actually makes me look slimmer than I am. When wearing it a few people have asked me if I have lost weight. I haven't. It's my magic blouse

Similar question. What item of clothing is most flattering on you?

Mollygo Sat 23-Jul-22 17:15:52

A camisole with lace at the top. It stops clothing clinging and the lacy top is useful when the neckline of a top plunges more than I’d like.

Lazy me-I’m just going to repeat the question.

Mine Sat 23-Jul-22 15:35:51

I don't ever watch soaps now but I faithfully watched Brookside till channel 4 stopped showing it....It was shown
What is your favourite item(s) of clothing....

FannyCornforth Sat 23-Jul-22 13:31:06

No, I have to get everything done first. Unless it’s early in the morning brief appointment - I tend to just leave everything until I get back then.

Do you, or have you ever, watch any soaps?

I used to love Brookside and Corrie, but haven’t watched a soap for nearly twenty years (apart from the occasional sneaky episode of Doctors!)
