I like the sound of walking alpaca’s on the beach as it suggests it’s flat. We had to go up quite a steep hill to the ones we saw yesterday.

We have an alpaca farm at Kilkeel near our caravan. We must book a beach walk with them.
I hope your body keeps improving FannyC .Continual pain is so difficult to cope with. x

They were friendly, nosey, and completely at ease in wonderful surroundings Fanny .They had plenty of water to drink in their paddocks in paddling pools , and large open ended ‘sheds’ to shelter under from sun or rain.

I did not get to the Minnack this time but have been before. It’s amazing isn’t it - sort of clinging on to the edge of the cliffs?

I hope your body adjusts to the new way of movement and you will really feel the benefit of your new hip - you’ll be away, walking with alpaca’s in now time ?

Oh Tilly! They are absolutely adorable!
My dad and I decided a while ago that when I can walk much better, we are going to go walking with alpacas ?
Were they friendly? Did they like a fuss?

(The reason I was miserable the other day is that I was in quite a bit of pain.
The muscles in my chest and stomach were aching - I think that it is because I’m walking differently / properly now after so long)
