it is good to hear you have put your complaint in and now they must come back to you (in a timely way I hope).
It has taken so much of your time and energy to get this far - now you can just concentrate on strengthening your body and doing more walking, more shopping, and anything else that takes your fancy.
Everything seems to be done in an unprofessional way these days - it’s not the world in which we grew up. Manners

Well done for yesterday FarNorth, that was brilliant.
Btw, I had an email from Lily @ GN, saying the same thing about the benefits thread.
It just doesn’t wash does it?

I’m feeling much better. I put everything (my complaint) in writing and David hand delivered it to the Hospital Director and I forwarded a copy to the Nuffield Head Office.
I got a letter ‘from’ the Hospital Director acknowledging it.
It’s not even signed - it’s a photocopy of his signature. The whole thing is just staggeringly unprofessional.
Anyway, it’s their problem now, not mine!

Nada, thank you again. I’m definitely seeing my (lovely) surgeon on the 5th September for my follow up appointment.

I went out yesterday for the first time in months and months!

I went to a garden centre and bought some house plants, and I also went to the Co op and bought 2 loaves of my favourite bread, which you can’t get anywhere else.
It’s the first time I have been in a shop for well over a year!
I did over one thousand steps.
Definitely a good day.
