Hullo Ailidh (last post on previous thread!), welcome to Nerdling.
Maybe this screenshot of the Nerdle rules might help?
The key thing is that multiply & divide, in any sum, are done before add or subtract.

A quiet moment and time for a wee nerdle. We’re near The Hague and the beach and will have been for a week tomorrow when we’re moving on. It’s been a busy time - lovely though quite cold - it’s our 49th anniversary today. Just chilling. 🥰.

Thankyou nada. Currently in Canterbury, leaving tomorrow by Eurotunnel. We visited a vet Folkestone today to pick up an animal health certificate for our dog who’s with us. Walked along the front - it was freezing! 🥶. Enjoyed some fish & chips though (inside!). 😃
