Ooh I love a quiz!
In no 2 are the surnames of the singers stations on the West Coast mainline?
Stumped on all the others

This is just a brief intervention from me. I was hoping to let you all get on with it, because it's always been a bad habit of mine (it's the autism I know) to panic of things like this aren't going well and chivvy people along. But I will intervene occasionally if necessary.

The questions aren't meant to be easy, but I'm hoping that you will get to the answers collaboratively, through discussion, and as with the first round there will be no restrictions on digressions and suggestions. Just let it flow. If you don't get one part then somebody else will, and the picture will emerge. You have until the New Year before I give the answers, and there will be no hints from me!

Just enjoy the challenge.

Notagran do you know all the songs? I thought it was Songs with mind in the title. I have checked.

muse Mon 19-Dec-22 15:01:17

7 - agree with Notagran. Don't think Blondie or The Bangles had a song with mind in the title Nadateturbe.

FannyCornforth Mon 19-Dec-22 15:20:33

Hello muse.
What songs do you have in mind?
I can think only think of
Manic Monday (Bangles)
Ruby Tuesday (Stones)

Calendargirl Mon 19-Dec-22 15:33:09

Re the songs.

The Easybeats- Friday On My Mind?

Calendargirl Mon 19-Dec-22 15:33:57

Could the songs be days of the week?

NotAGran55 Mon 19-Dec-22 17:54:08

Notagran do you know all the songs? I thought it was Songs with mind in the title. I have checked.

There are literally hundreds of tracks with a day of the week in the title.

Bangles…Manic Monday
Stones …Ruby Tuesday
S&G…. Wednesday Morning 3am
Petshop Boys ….Thursday
Esybeats ….Friday on my mind
Bowie….. Thursdays Child
Blonde…. Sunday Girls

nadateturbe Mon 19-Dec-22 21:51:52

I checked before posting, but days of the week songs are better known ones, so I'll go with that.

NotAGran55 Tue 20-Dec-22 08:10:46

nadateturbe I would be interested in seeing the tracks with ‘mind’ in the title please .It’s interesting that there might be 2 correct answers. 👏

nadateturbe Tue 20-Dec-22 14:22:21

Notagran Mine were more obscure and involved some googling. I tried again after you posted and couldn't find them. I think you're answer is better.

nadateturbe Tue 20-Dec-22 14:27:39

I might even have made a mistake with S&G 😊
