Do it in a couple of sentences, but don't tell us the name of the character or the work they appear in.

Skye17,
Got it in one!
Have you read it? I read it years and years ago!

Dark & mysterious but sometimes a bit of a klutz as has trouble mastering descending the stairs.
Blamed his best friend for what happened to him, thinking he was after his wife, but found out that really wasn't the case.
Though it started out weird for him, it had a happy ending!

Yes I agree JackyB It has got a little off track. No idea how to get it back other than insisting others can post only if they get an answer right. Which means an immediate answer from the poster who asks the question. And that for multiple reasons might not happen. Hey ho!

JackyB Sat 03-Jun-23 18:38:33

Yes but people aren't saying which clue they're giving the answer to.

MrsKen33 Fri 02-Jun-23 17:59:45

Easy JackyB
Write just a small clue to your favourite character.
Someone guesses and you say yes or no.
The someone who guesses correctly carries on with their own clue

Simples

Having seen the title of this thread, I came here to write a loving essay on my favourite: Captain Carrot from the Discworld. I like the idea as laid out in The OP, but the thread is so confusing I've given up!

Half-sister if I am correct - one of my very favourite novels The Woman in White! But we are never in doubt of Marion's character.
