Number four in purple made sense, I've heard of it.

Number two in purple is not strictly true. It's something that develops later on iyswim.

The TV Only Connect is almost unfathomable to me. I marvel at the contestants. I think I have only been able to form one connection that was related to music or something like that. It makes me feel really stupid when I watch it.

I agree with you about the blues, Parsley!

There are things here in my living room that I sometimes use for that purpose when the fancy takes me, and I bet no one would have got the connection from those: coasters, balls of wool, coins, marbles, dice, rolled-up socks ... 😁
