Ok so it’s no longer Monday so can I ask what has ‘Can’ got to do with a bum ? And what have ‘pyjamas’ got to do with a cat

The cat's pyjamas is a expression that I had heard.

Like you, never heard 'can' used to mean 'bum'.

Well, I've heard of the cat's whiskers but never knew they wore pyjamas.

Ar the time, I was thinking of the song 'If' by Bread, not the Rudyard Kipling poem! There was no way I would have got that row if they hadn't been the only words left.

The blues are a complete mystery to me and the greens were more or less a guess. The yellows I got right but not for the reason given, but hey, I actually got the purples right for the right reason!
