I did put a smiley face on my comment. We clearly have a totally different sense of humour.

I wasn't advising you, I just couldn't understand why you would bother to comment on a thread you admittedly avoid. I should have known better than to have responded to your comment in the first place. I thought Games was a safe place to place a light hearted comment as I now avoid N&P. Lesson learned.

I didn’t mean to upset anyone. I phrased my comment badly. Like you, I’m not happy with some responses on here and quite often plan to leave. Then I spot a post that draws me back in.
Sometimes I am scared to post anywhere on here. There are always people waiting to pounce and it can quite upsetting when you have posted with the best intentions.
I shall think twice before jumping in with a comment!

Crossstitchfan Personally, I just enjoy people actually reading what I write and responding, which is something that rarely happens elsewhere on GN. I don't understand why you have to go on this thread if you find it pointless. Surely there are plenty of other threads for you to go on. I think most of GNs just avoid threads that don't interest them. Sorry I don't really see your problem.

Quito

That's in Ecuador, at a high altitude in the foothills of the Andes. Language spoken is Spanish if anyone is thinking of visiting.
It's a 14½ hour flight, change at Madrid.

It can help with holiday planning and improve your geography knowledge smile Not everything has to be complicated or challenging.

Live and let live Crossstitchfan , don't join in if you don't want to.

How on earth does it help with holiday planning, or improving geography knowledge? ? I just don’t get it.
Your advice is not to join in, but I had already said that I avoid it! I was just curious in case I was missing something, but I rather think you missed the point of my original question.
