Strands on the same NY site as Connections

Yes I’ve been doing this one a while. Do connections then this every morning or the middle of the night when I can’t sleep!

I often wake in the night and do all the NYT puzzles. Some change at midnight, some change at other times during the day. It is quite confusing. I have tried Strands but I don't find it enough of a challenge because if you find three random words you can use a hint. Which I do as the clues are often no help until you see one or two words.

I prefer Letter Boxed. If I solve it in four words, though, I am miffed that there is no recognition for that; you are just told "you solved it within 6 words."

I don't use clues.

I don’t use clues either . . . Except there was one about a week ago when I didn’t know any of the words.
I agree about the lack of recognition for finishing Letter Boxed in fewer than the number of tries allowed.
I’m also now hooked on Gridogram that somebody kind here pointed out to me, but it’s not allowed on GN.
