Wordle virgin - help!

Just google New York Wordle. It will open up the option to play. It shows a grid of 5 squares across and six rows down. This allows you to select your first five letter word. The letters found in the Wordle word of the day will come up green if they are in the correct place. If correct but not in the right place they are yellow. If not correct will be blacked out on the grid and also on the keyboard. So playing about with possible words until you guess correctly or continue for six goes. If you haven’t got it the correct word flashes up.

If you are colour blind (or just prefer it) you can choose a different colourway.

You can a!so set it so that you HAVE to use the !letters that turn up yellow and you HAVE to leave the green ones in their place. I used to always play completely different letters each go to get the maximum chance of finding all five letters. It is counter-intuitive but by fixing the letters in the way described above, I get there in fewer guesses.

Rosiebee I would recommend you just play it and leave different colours unless you really want to. Keep it simple. I use the same first word every time .It contains three vowels which is a help. The idea is really simple and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Just go to google game store and download the NYT wordle app. I've been playing almost daily for a long time and still love playing. There are other games too, but I only play the connections and the mini crossword as well as wordle.
