Language is surely a hoot
In English, we do have to root
For something to rhyme
Correct rhythm and time
Making it interesting to boot

It’s fun when we all get it right
If not, it could end in a fight,
Line lengths five and eight
Not up for debate,
The answer is neatly in sight.

It really can make my brain fry,

It really can make my brain fry,
But it's fun to endlessly try,
If I'm stupid, who cares?

It really can make my brain fry,
But it's fun to endlessly try,
If I'm stupid, who cares?
We love all who share.

If I’m stupid, who cares?
We love all who share,
So rhyming I’ll endlessly ply.

A genius I'll never be
But at least we can try, you see
It's only light fun
You can make up a pun
And then run along for your tea

My hubby insists on cake
But I really don't know how to bake

And brew a good brew

My hubby insists on cake
But I really don't know how to bake
I can make a fine stew
And brew a good brew
And barbecue chicken and steak
