Only then will I head off home
And sort out my wet hair with a comb
I'll try a new style
With which I'll beguile
Everyone wherever I roam

I'll charm everybody I meet

I once knew a a Russian painter
At portraits there was no one greater
No clothes, just a rose

Nureyev was just so sublime
Greatest male dancer of his time
He turn and he’d leap
Then land in a heap
And Fonteyn just bided her time.

It’s fun to go out and go shopping
And then spend the evening bopping
Lots of twist and shout
And prancing about
A sweaty brow I’ll be mopping.

I've got some exciting news!
I'm buying a new pair of shoes
I can't wear high heels
I'll see what appeals
And hope they have various hues.

Two man ghosts were having a fight
Over who should be spending the night
Not with me, I thought,
I'm not to be bought,
I'm off before it's daylight.

Last night I heard a strange noise
It sounded like a man's voice
I climbed out of bed
And was struck by dread
What I saw made me lose my poise

There's a seaside town called Beer
I wonder if it's near, by here
It's in East Devon
A slice of heaven
A place that I hold dear.
