When I lived alone, I miss it.

When leaving home I sometimes call out "I'm off now - see you later" to try to confuse any would be burglars - however the effect is probably spoiled by the beeping of the burglar alarm being set

I once bought my DS a very funny birthday card with a picture of a Peacock displaying his tail to two pea hens. One of the Peahens was captions as saying "Cut the crap and show us your willy."

A tad rude but very very funny in its context.

A friend who's a caterer was at a smart country residence and she and two of her waiting staff were sitting around the kitchen table discussing the finer details of a forthcoming event with the lady of the house who was very demanding and rather po-faced. There was the sound of a door slamming and a plummy voice yelled out

"Come on darling, I'm dying for a sh*g!

Think it was Hilda and Howard (matching jumpers) in "Ever Decreasing Circles" who used to shout "I'm Home" then "Who's home?" the other would reply, answer "Our home!".

Still amuses me!

I was at the house of a friend when her husband came in from work said 'Hi' and went upstairs. One of our friends was present and got very uptight because they didn't 'greet each other'. She and her husband were always very demonstrative in public. We found out later that she was having an affair!

My son used to shout that to me, when he came in from school.
