'Fraid so! He hasn't been around lately, so that (venomous?) spider has either bitten or cocooned him! Damned cobwebs!

Not exactly a gran as no children or grand children; but do have a drill and powerful hose for cobwebs and............gin.

Puzzled....this thread has a year old spider hanging off it.?

Intrigued by the two legged spiders being more friendly, and then some one said that they had been grouped?
Perhaps because my workshop has no windows?

I'm afraid the recruitment drive is going very slowly. Only one Grandad has shown up ( cheers Rufus), but it's very nice of you Grans to pop in and lend some support. To be fair, whilst you're here, you couldn't tidy up a bit, and clean those dusty windows. I'm far too busy recruiting and doing other blokey stuff ( ie, anything that doesn't include household chores)

Yeah, two is less of a group, more of a huddle..

So, on the Grandads shed manifesto/agenda so far..

1. Avoid discussions on Lord Reith
2. Adopt suitable shed battle hymn (and flag)
3. Recruit third member to get past huddle stage.

I don't think we were ever "grouped"! We (all two of us!) were put asunder by the Forum police for supporting Lord Reith's BBC beliefs (of all things). I'm sure there are other Grandads lurking out there so maybe your enthusiasm will help them overcome their shyness. We need a stirring Battle Hymn!

How did you work that out Grandad? When I enlisted they said it was full of Grandads yearning for some man-talk! Fake news! It's been empty ever since the Grannies took over with "girly talk" and then de-camped!
Subtle jokes might help keep it clean.
