At 1am I pulled the cord to turn off the light in my shower room the toggle attaching the 2 pieces of cord together broken.
The cord with bit of toggle is still attached to the cord from the ceiling fitting . Can I buy a new toggle and how do I fit it ?

The rest of the cord is still brilliant white with bit of broken toggle attached and still has pull on the end .
If I can please can you tell me what to buy and give me step by step instructions how to fix it .

Thank you

It's very quick and easy to do - my husband did ours just the other week. If you go onto YouTube there are step by step videos which show you how to do it.

The two cords are threaded into the plastic linking toggle, each cord is knotted at the end and pulled tight, you can’t see the knots because they are inside the toggle. If a knot has come undone, just thread the cord back and retie it. If the toggle itself is broken, you will need to buy a new cord, they always come with a toggle attached - only a couple of pounds from B&Q, Amazon or wherever.

Thank you all. I had toggles in my craft box spring loaded ones. My daughter came and did it for me yesterday morning.
