DD and the little boys came to visit today as an early Mothering Sunday (Mothering Saturday?) treat. Poor little DGS2 came out with chickenpox first thing this morning and you could see the spots multiply before your eyes!! Anyway DD had a message from a friend who recommended Poxclin as a cooling and anti-bacterial mousse. This is not an advertisement, but I had never heard of it and it sounds like a very good product. In my day <sounds like a Granny> we used a mixture of calomine and witch hazel to dry the spots as well as cool the skin down but this is not recommended it seems. We also didn't have Infant anti-histamine/Piriton as I remember.
So you learn something new every day - if you have used it I should be grateful for your comments, if not, you might find this useful knowledge to store awayfor future use!
