Sadly a lot of people on here will know the awful survival statistics of pancreatic cancer. Less than 3% live longer than 5 years from diagnosis and 17% for a year. Only 1% of the public purse is spent on research of this cancer yet its the 5th biggest killer in the UK. Can I ask a huge favour. A friend of mine, a lady widowed in her 40s, started a petition 51 weeks ago to get the Government to view the spending on this cancer. We have one week left to get another 27,000 signatures. Please would you add yours. You can sign twice per email address using different names. Here is the link. Many people would be so very very grateful.
