LOL Soutra. See, I try grin

Funny thing, lavender was always a sort of a granny thing when I was younger, and suddenly, I get it. Must be because I'm of the granny age myself now.

Don't you mean totes chillaxballs*[grin|!!! *grannyknot
Nothing wrong with aromatherapy I was " head down, tail up" weeding the border last summer and wondered why it was so pleasant and relaxing? Then I realised I had my head virtually in the lavender which was why I felt so relaxed!!

Only sometimes! smile

feetle call it what you will, but I love my peaceful-sleep-inducing lavender essential oil, starting with a few drops in a relaxing bath, and also sprinkled on my pillow.

Totes chillaxing grin.

I say chillax sometimes though the term is now rather out of date.

glammanana Mon 12-May-14 18:17:05

Brenda grin my dad was also fond of liberating supplies when he was Sgt of the Stores,I remember a delivery of Corn Flakes (out of date mind) ? coming to our house in a LandRover from the base not your everyday box but massive plastic type bags of the stuff we had it for about 18mths I think,I hate Corn Flakes with a vengence to this day.sorry off topic.

I have a lovely story about Ex-Lax. After the war my father went to the local American transit base to liberate a stainless steel sink. In a cupboard he found a box of chocolate squares. Chocolate had not been seen for years so all the family indulged......to find out next day it was ExLax!

merlotgran Mon 12-May-14 18:05:59

Reminds me of Ex-Lax shock

glammanana Mon 12-May-14 18:04:37

Is it just me but I honestly can't bear the term "chillax"

Ana Mon 12-May-14 18:03:56

You need to be calmer, Soutra! grin

Soutra Mon 12-May-14 18:01:43

Do you struggle to make time to unwind? (does that sound ironic?!)

GN Chelmsford brings you seven steps closer to relaxation with professional aromatherapist Isabelle Willis.

We'd love to know what you do to take time out.
