yes kiora, thanks for info. Your mention of white bread, reminded me of my weakness for baguette and butter. hmm

This isn't really a new diet. It's the same as the L.A diet I used about 7 years ago to loose weight for my sons wedding, right down to the suger free jelly. It works well and one of the benefits alongside the weigh loss was that my tummy problems disappeared but even more amazingly When I was stressed I'd get excema around my hair line and in my head this cleared up a treat. So why didn't I stick to it well. It got boring. I missed white bread and other forbidden/ inadvisable food stuff. Perhaps I'll give it another go. Good luck anneey

I have wanted to lose half a stone or more, but couldn't quite drum up the enthusiasm to Diet.
My over 75 check inspired me.
The Nurse gave me an information sheet on many health aspects.
They recommend the 'Dash Diet' (never heard of it)
I googled, and low and behold, many books on the Dash Diet. I have ordered the D.D. Cookbook. Apparently the diet gives tips on Blood pressure, heart problems etc.
I am a sucker for Ice Cream and I am not happy when I don't have any in the freezer. Yesterday I went Shopping, and bought Asparagus, cherries etc. Definitely NO Ice Cream. The diet allows Dark chocolate which is good for you. Whats more I am even looking forward to the Diet.
