Treatment or breast cancer and the importance of darkness

Very interesting GK I remember hearing something about this years ago and getting DH to fit a dimmer on the shower room light so I could go to the loo in very low light during the night. No history of breast cancer but it was said that darkness at night enabled the production of a preventative hormone.
