I used to buy DH a box of Thornton's toffee whenever I was in town shopping, until he lost a filling chewing on it! So now he doesn't eat it. I have a crown to illustrate the folly of eating pork crackling. Do I eat pork crackling now? Try and keep me away from it, but every time I eat it I feel as if my teeth are living on borrowed time! Hope you get it sorted out soon, nina.

Ooh - how did you explain that one to them, nina!
I just love Thornton's chocolate toffees. They're all shapes and sizes and covered in depths of really thick chocolate. However, they're deadly on the fillings..... shock

I refuse to eat toffees any more.

I will now be aware of drumstick lollies.

Oh ninathenana! Poor you. Hope you don't have to wait too long for a dentist appointment. I always never (ahem) help myself to treats the grandkids leave behind. What a good nannie you are for sacrificing your own dental health in order to save theirs. grin
Now excuse me while I go in search of those leftover Easter eggs...

I feel your pain, nina. I had a very expensive broken tooth to deal with a couple of years ago because I nicked a piece of pork crackling off DH's plate. It looked nice and crunchy but was more like a lump of concrete shock

I bought the GC a drumstick lolly each at the weekend which I just found them in the cupboard, so I thought I'd treat myself.

Second bite I lost a flipping tooth !!
