Does anyone else suffer with these?
One of mine, next to the small toe, causes a lot of sharp pain, especially when I get into bed at night, keeps me awake. I sometimes wrap a hanky with ice cubes around it which helps. It's been like that for about 4 years. Sometimes the joint is fine for weeks and months, then starts up again.
I've been to the chiropodist who says that's an arthritic pain. Twice to the doctor, but whenever I go there's no problem with the toe so he can't see anything.
He's now suggested Flector cream which does help. It's an NSAID in gel form. And support soles from the chiropodist.
Has anyone any other suggestions? I sometimes feel like saying, cut it off!

) seems to have got better since it was straightened. The tendon used to hurt but they snip it I think, when they straighten the toe. It was done on the NHS.
