I'd make a GP appt, at least a telephone one. If you have an infection, it needs to be treated.

Hope you feel better, it's hot and nasty as it is.

I have on several occasions recently, including today, woken up feeling pretty grim - when I take my temperature it is high (101.5 today in Brits - around 38.5C). I am not desperately ill and some paracetamol brings it down after a while. I just them feel a bit under the weather all day. This has happened about 3 times in the last few weeks and does not seem to be related to the hot weather, as it has happened on cooler days.

I have no obvious infection - a bit of a sore throat, which I think relates to my snoring and is worse in the mornings. And I have a night time wheezy cough, which is put down to mild asthma - I have had chest x-ray and that showed evidence that asthma is the cause of the cough, but no chest infection. I do have an infected toenail, but it is very mild indeed compared with how it has been in the past.

It is quite weird - and I feel slightly unwell until the temp goes down.

Anyone else had anything like this?
